Everything now up and running!

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Supermarionation: The Kitchen Sink: Everything now up and running!
By Phillip Culley (Pculley) on Saturday, December 01, 2001 - 12:22 pm:

I've now got all the episodes added so far, so now it's up to you!
Firstly, I've been going from a book for titles, so if there are any errors in the titles (since I've never seen XL5, Supercar and Secret Service) then let me know!
Secondly, I want to have short synopsises of all the episodes, and I just don't have the time to do them myself. Can people send them in to me at this address here, and I'll add them with full credit!
And finally, what now? Do you want me to add the other Gerry Anderson (et al) series, like Space 1999, UFO, Terrahawks, Space Precinct etc.. and if so, which ones?

By Kinggodzillak on Saturday, December 01, 2001 - 3:12 pm:

Yes please! I was going to try to make Space Precinct and UFO, but I don't know how! There is a Space : 1999 board up already though. Put Terrahawks up too!

By Adam on Sunday, December 02, 2001 - 9:02 am:

I don't care much about Space Precinct but please put Terrahawks and UFO up.

By Phillip Culley (Pculley) on Sunday, December 02, 2001 - 1:34 pm:

Well, I'll write to the Space:1999 moderator about perhaps him adding UFO and Space Precinct up on his section, since it could be counted as me stealing his thunder, and so have him deal with the live action series, and I would deal with the puppet series; and then add Terrahawks and the pre-supermarionation series (Four Feather Falls, Twizzle and Torchy) on this side. However, in order to do this I'm going to need an episode list for each of the series (in particular Terrahawks, since I doubt many people have seen Four Feather, Twizzle and Torchy, and at least some of those episodes are missing - for one series I believe all but one no longer exist).
If anyone has an episode list for any of the series, can you mail them to me on the above address?

By Adam on Sunday, December 02, 2001 - 1:58 pm:

By Adam on Sunday, December 02, 2001 - 2:01 pm:

Now that I look at the highlighted part "this address here" I could of given the list to your address, sorry about that.

By Phillip Culley (Pculley) on Sunday, December 02, 2001 - 6:16 pm:

Thanks everyone for the episode lists - I'll get those boards set up during the week. For the pre-Supercar series, is it worth putting up boards for each episode, or should I just make up a board for the series in general? I would think that since they aren't easy to get hold of, it would be easier to just discuss the series as a whole (and have an episode list as a seperate entry). But, since this is your board as well, I want your opinions!

Terrahawks... can't we have it hidden away somewhere so that no one knows it's in anyway associated with Thunderbirds? :)

By Kinggodzillak on Friday, July 19, 2002 - 4:03 pm:

How about a board for the Japanese Linking Material?

By Phillip Culley (Pculley) on Friday, July 19, 2002 - 5:23 pm:

Well, since the SIG websites have it as a seperate episode, I'll add it in a few minutes :)

(edited to add) And it's done!

By Kinggodzillak on Monday, November 18, 2002 - 3:42 pm:

And now.... how about a board for the Investigator? :)

By Richard Davies on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 - 2:24 pm:

What excactly is The Investigator? I've heard it mentioned as an Anderson project, but assumed it to be an early name for Space Precinct. Also didn't TV21 make a film in the late 1960s?

By Paul Joyce on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 - 3:46 pm:

The Investigator was a Supermarionation pilot produced in the early 70s that basically went no further. Apparently, it's not well liked.

The film you're referring to is called Doppelganger (or in the USA, Journey to the Far Side of the Sun).

(Incidentally, I have seen neither of these).

By Kinggodzillak on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 - 3:12 pm:

I have a Doppelganger section on my UFO board :)
I have both.
