I got these DVDs last week and just finished them this morning. After I got past the first episode (which I hated), I liked the series more than I thought I was going to, but it's still far from being my favorite. The mixing of live action and the puppets just doesn't work for me. Especially since most of the live action seems to be people driving around in cars, getting in and out of cars, and entering and exiting buildings.

That said, I have to admit my very favorite moments in the series are the scenes with the live dog, Rex, and the Matthew puppet sharing the doghouse in "The Deadly Whisper".
