I remember seeing "Supercar" on the old Comedy Channel (not Comedy Central) series "Higgins Boys and Gruber". They would run Supercar clips. That was fun!

There was a great stage show around about five years ago called Thunderbirds FAB: The Next Generation (or something like that).
It had two guys dressed up in all the gear, from Brains to Lady Penelope and they through in some Captain Scarlet and Stingray as well.
It was very funny, an effectionate send up - they even mimed the launch sequences of Thunderbirds 1 and 2.

With the recent showing of Thunderbirds on the TV, the stage show has been revived and is currently on in London until the 21st of January. I saw it about 8 years ago and have enormously fond memories of it, especially the TB2 take-off which had the entire audience breaking into spontaneous applause. Me, I could hardly clap for laughing so hard!

An Australian comedy show, The D-Generation did a send-up in the late 80s, with everyone walking about as if they marionettes.
Don't remember much except for a line like: "Remember mission XYZ? Scott was still in the pool!"
And Brains walking in saying: "I've just made a new invention; two parts gin, three parts vodka!"

Les Dennis did a resonable parody in the late 1980s, with IR falling on bad times.

Peter Cook and Dudley Moore did a parody entitled something like 'Superthunderstingcar', which ended with the villain cutting the hero's strings.

I think Morecambe and Wise did something to do with Supercar on Two of a Kind, but I can't remember it. It was quite short though.

"Superthunderstingcarthing".

There was a terrific homage/parody of Thunderbirds in "A Close Shave".

Wallace uses an elaborate series of mechanisms and chutes which transfer him from his living room to his motorcycle, a-la Thunderbird 1.

Once he is in position, Gromit (eyes rolling) simply opens the lounge door, walks though, and gets into the sidecar.
