Not a reunion, but a sequel series has started now.

Not bad. Nice that they set in the same continuity as the original show, making this a sequel, not a reboot.

The fact that Ben's mystery ally was Al's daughter threw me at first. Then I remember that, in the final episode of the original series, thanks to Sam, Al and his wife, Beth, never divorced and she was there when Al returned from Vietnam. They had children in the new time line.

I wonder if this is why Al's daughter is involved. Did she find out about what Sam did? Could she be trying to bring him home as repayment (since she owes her existence to him)? Did she recruit Ben to help her?

I know that Scott Bakula said no to being in the show, perhaps due to the death of Dean Stockwell. However, perhaps he could be talked into doing a cameo sometime down the line.

In the second episode, Susan Diol reprised her role as Beth Calavicci, Al's wife (and now widow). She played the role in two episodes of the original series (the second being the finale, where Sam appeared to her and says that Al will be coming home to her).

There is a weird echo in that post.

The revival has been renewed for a second season.

Cancelled.

Absolutely no loss. Didn't have half the heart or originality of the Scott Baluka/Dean Stockwell series, and other than the guy that time-traveled no likable characters.

I particularly wasn't impress with Raymond Lee.

Well, I enjoyed it.
