Muhahaha!

A new board to conquer!

I ain't scared of no stupid crows, my dog will defend me....!.
(Starts whistling jauntily...)

By Crow on Saturday, March 26, 2005 - 9:06 am:

I'll be your dog.

(Starts barking.)

By KAM on Wednesday, April 06, 2005 - 12:46 am:

Hmmm...

By KAMplaining again on Wednesday, April 06, 2005 - 12:49 am:

BTW Callie, when I click on this topic Page 1 comes up and I have to click on the Page 2 link to get here. Shouldn't this be more like you have the MST3K MiSTing boards with the most recent page coming up and the earlier pages an additional link?

By Callie on Wednesday, April 06, 2005 - 5:13 am:

I’d thought about that when you pointed out that we needed a new page but then decided that it wasn’t fair to newbies who would click into the middle of a conversation and not have a clue what’s going on. On the other hand, non-newbies have to do twice the clicking (oh, the anguish that must cause). I’m not sure how to proceed on this one.

By KAM on Thursday, April 07, 2005 - 2:34 am:

Perhaps an About Message saying something like, "It's an insane fan thing. Explanation at the top of Page 1." ;-)

Then again The Phantom Return of the Empire's New Hope Strikes Back was only explained on page 1 and it ran for 30-some boards.

By Captain Blackadder on Thursday, April 07, 2005 - 2:35 am:

Awubble.

By Frobisher The Living-Impared God on Thursday, April 07, 2005 - 7:53 pm:

Now, how exactly does this luck virus thing work, as I think someone's about to get a blast of "Hex Vision" in the not too distant future....

By Callie on Friday, April 15, 2005 - 7:27 am:

So many penguins, so little time!

(But where’s the one with the eyes that flash?)

By KAM on Sunday, April 17, 2005 - 12:59 am:

Heck I don't understand half the stuff I ramble about on this page & I'm the one who started it. ;-)

Thanks, Callie.

By ScottN on Sunday, April 17, 2005 - 10:03 am:

KAM, that's a PENGUIN, not a DUCK!

By The Scooby Gang on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 - 1:34 am:

Jeepers! It's old Mr. Quackers from the duck pond!

Quack! Quack!*

* Translation: And I would have gotten away with it if it hadn't of been for you meddling kids!

Penguin Goa’uld? I like it!

By Frobisher The Living-Impared God on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 - 8:47 pm:

Looks around & sees army of Crows in Ninja "Drag" brandishing various Martial Arts weapons, clapping slowly.....
"It looks like Scrappy Doo's about to get the fight (To The Death ?) that he wants...".

By The Soon to be Departed Scrappy Doo on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 - 10:23 am:

"Let Me At Them, Uncle Scooby...! I'll Splat those crows with a Capital S-P-L-A-T !!!!"

By F. R Rubbisher on Sunday, May 15, 2005 - 5:48 pm:

Meanwhile, while all this is going on, a freak occourance in the space-time continium (probably caused by the mass reaction of Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy fans after seeing the movie), has caused a certain Psychotic cyborg, from another film franchise althogheter to appear in front of the Scooby Gang...
Said Cyborg approaches Shaggy, & starts talking to him...
"So Padawan Sha'Gi, we meet again...
Apparently, the craven ARC troopers managed to save your life, along with the rest of the Jedi detritus, that I defeated...
This time, you will be not be as fortunate...."

By Frobisher The Living-Impared God on Thursday, June 02, 2005 - 8:55 pm:

Meanwhile....
"Hi, I'm Johnny Gomez... And I'm Nick Diamond... Welcome to Celebrity Deathmatch..."
"And on tonight's show we have a Cacaphony of Cartoon Carnage, for your viewing pleasure..."

By F. R Rubbisher on Wednesday, June 08, 2005 - 10:27 am:

Meanwhile a certain penguin is looking on at all these anime antics, darkly muttering about the ways these entities will suffer at the hands of "Their Living God"....

By KAM on Thursday, June 09, 2005 - 1:52 am:

Then he's distracted by some Hostess Twinkies™.

Herring-flavored, of course.

By Penguin on the Telly on Thursday, June 09, 2005 - 8:53 pm:

Never mind me, I'll just sit here on top of the Telly.....

BOOOM!

By Telly on Friday, June 10, 2005 - 1:53 am:

Who loves ya baby?

By Zarm Rkeeg on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 - 2:30 pm:

Yeah, whatever did happen to good 'ol Telly? He hasn't been around for a while... perhaps Urgo was being litteral about that whole "Your fate is tied to mine" thing?

By Evil Edna in 16:9 ratio on Saturday, June 18, 2005 - 8:35 am:

"Anyone who dares to sit on me will get the same treatment"....
(The T.V began Muttering in a fairly loud tone of voice)
"By the way, I'm improved, in widescreen & have 100 new channels of evil"...?
(Begins ambluating in a stiff way)
"Now where's that fat fairy Mavis Cruet, I want to give her some "digtal distress""...?

By CGI Willo The Wisp on Saturday, June 18, 2005 - 8:43 am:

"Oh Dear", thought Willo the Wisp as he surveyed the unfolding scene...
"Evil Edna's on the warpath again, & it looks like anyone who encounters her, will indeed recieve some "digital distress" from her, when she's in that mood"....
"It seems I'll have to warn Mavis & The Moog....".
(Looks at Deathmatch ring busily being constructed)
My god", he thought "Pay Per View mayhem... No wonder Evil Edna's in that mood"....

By Zarm Rkeeg on Sunday, July 03, 2005 - 2:46 pm:

Y'know, I was watching TV the other day, and it occurred to me that M'kay's "Oh dear... I do so hope that a kangaroo will come along and save me" bit could have made an excellent running joke on Atlantis. Maybe when they give it the animated "Stargate Infinities" treatment...?

By KAM on Monday, July 04, 2005 - 3:07 am:

(Kanga & Roo show up. Roo's eyes glow)
Roo: Jaffa! Kree!
(Kanga grabs a staff weapon and blasts Winnie)

McKay: Now we'll never know the point of origin!

By KAM on Tuesday, July 05, 2005 - 12:02 am:

Zarm - Maybe when they give it the animated "Stargate Infinities" treatment...?
You mean they made a sequel to the awful cartoon???

Noooooooooooooo!!! (camera rises up spinning)

By Zarm Rkeeg on Friday, July 08, 2005 - 1:26 pm:

Well, there are rumors... and you have to admit that penguins tend to animate well...

By ScottN on Friday, July 08, 2005 - 2:11 pm:

You know... at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, they have a penguin habitat (warm weather pengins!). Now that I think about it, one of them did seem to have glowing eyes....

"Hasta La Vista, Windows..!"

By KAM on Friday, October 28, 2005 - 4:10 am:

So why was Teal'c wearing a Sailor Moon outfit on P33124?

By Frobisher The Paranoid, But on Saturday, October 29, 2005 - 10:28 pm:

Was'nt it a attempt to conform to native customs regarding dress, as I seem to recall a mention referring to another SG-Team (18 ?) who had previously made a diplomatic blunder, over this...?

By ScottN on Monday, November 21, 2005 - 10:56 am:

Any truth to the rumor that Penny will show up, having been "Prior-itized/Ori-fied"?

By constanze on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 - 2:30 am:

BTW, the US is currently building a road through the Antartic to connect two outposts (normal research and the Ancient one?) Since this isn't a good way of keeping the Ancient outpost secret, does that mean the guys who are building are being controlled by the Penguin Goauld?

By Frobisher , the on Saturday, December 10, 2005 - 11:23 am:

Re:last comment
No, it means they have to spend money quick,
otherwise their budget gets cut next year...
(In short, It's "makework").

By Callie on Sunday, December 11, 2005 - 7:48 am:

Talking of “getting cut”, how come Frobisher’s name got cut partway through?

Has the Penguin Goa’uld got him?

*dramatic music cues*

By Smart Alec, The on Sunday, December 11, 2005 - 11:38 am:

I thought he'd simply shortened his name to The Frobisher.

By Mark V Thomas on Thursday, December 15, 2005 - 10:42 am:

Re:Frobisher's status
I think he's been converted to the Ori belief system, as he's turned up on the Doctor Who boards as Frobisher, The Ori Prior (Eeeek)....

By Chris Marks on Friday, December 16, 2005 - 4:30 am:

---
I think he's been converted to the Ori belief system

Shouldn't that be Ori-ented?;)

By ScottN on Friday, December 16, 2005 - 9:20 am:

Or else he was just Prior-itized?

By KAM on Monday, December 19, 2005 - 8:20 pm:

The Penguin Goa'uld Winter Holiday Invasion Special???

By Frobisher, The on Thursday, December 29, 2005 - 9:21 am:

Re:Last Comment
Given the fate of the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special, this could be a "one-off" showing....
(Anyone for a Stargate Infinity "special" segment featuring them Vs the Ori, turning up somewhere in said show...?)

By ScottN on Thursday, December 29, 2005 - 10:36 am:

Is that where we'd be cheering for the Ori?

By Callie on Thursday, December 29, 2005 - 1:06 pm:

Hallowed are the Ori, if they can blast Infinity into ... umm .... well, infinity, really.

By KAM on Friday, December 30, 2005 - 1:04 am:

Well, I loved the special. The singing, the dancing, the herring exploding to the tune of Jingle Bells!

Could have done without the wardrobe malfunction involving socks, but nothing's perfect.

By Callie on Friday, December 30, 2005 - 10:33 am:

*sniffs* Philistine. Daniel's socks can never fall off too often.

By Mark V Thomas on Tuesday, January 03, 2006 - 10:25 am:

Re:Callie's last comment
They should have used glue, IMO to deal with this problem, though it was very funny to start off with, however the frequent repetition "killed it off", joke wise....

By Orinoco The on Monday, April 17, 2006 - 5:54 pm:

Does anyone know if the Penguin Goa'uld is due to turn up somewhere in Season 10, or is said season totally dominated by the Ori Conflict...?
(Alternately, will the Stargate:Atlantis crew encounter him/her (Delete as Applicable) next season...?).
Yours...

By Andreas Schindel on Friday, September 08, 2006 - 11:51 am:

Not exactly a penguin, but recently I photographed a cat Goa'uld - Bastet. (uploading an imgage won't work, so I post a link)

By Sven Hoek on Thursday, October 12, 2006 - 9:19 pm:

Re: Mark V Thomas's last comment
Glue filled socks....!
If this continues, they'll be testing out the "Happy Helmet", on poor old Daniel, & you know what happens then....

By Frobisher The.... on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 - 10:21 am:

Did someone mention socks...!
My flippers, not to mention my feet are freezing...

By Mark V Thomas (Frobisher) on Wednesday, April 04, 2007 - 10:50 am:

There's a rumour that the Penguin Goa'uld will cameo in a Stargate:Atlantis Episode next season...?
Can anyone confirm this...?

By Callie on Thursday, April 05, 2007 - 2:34 am:

“Adrift”? Atlantis heads to a new planet and lands on top of an iceberg, only to find that they’re not alone ...

“Doppelganger”? ‘Take two penguin Goa’ulds into the shower? ...’

“Reunion”? Carter arrives on Atlantis. It’s only while unpacking her suitcases that she finds that someone – or something – has stowed away ...

By Callie on Wednesday, April 09, 2008 - 2:57 am:

Penny is finally making his move:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrxmpihCjqw

Or, if that one's gone, type "flying penguins" into the search box.

By Mark V Thomas (Frobisher) on Friday, April 11, 2008 - 7:23 pm:

Re: Big Finish Audio adaptations & the "Penguin Goa'uld"...
Well, Big Finish now have acquired the franchise to do Stargate:Sg-1 & Stargate: Atlantis adaptations in a similar fashion to the "Companion Chronicles" that they're doing with Doctor Who...
One of the adaptations is to be a 2 part
"crossover" between SG-1 & Atlantis, but set in different seasons. (Season 5 for the SG-1 segment & Season 3 for Atlantis).
Christopher Judge is said to be reading the SG-1 story & Amanda Tapping, the Atlantis story....
The Link between both parts, is the apperence of a certain Goa'uld....

By Keith Alan Morgan (Kmorgan) on Sunday, November 29, 2009 - 2:52 am:

Well, I've heard a rumor about an upcoming episode of Universe titled "Penguin".

Apparently Penny gets ahold of one of the communication stones & trades places with Rush, doing all sorts of evil things on the ship... but no one notices anything different.

Eli doesn't even think it odd that he has to wear a sock while feeding 'Rush' pickled herring.

By Callie (Csullivan) on Sunday, November 29, 2009 - 11:36 am:

Oh, thank the gods - the series is saved!

Best spoiler ever, Keith. Thank you for giving me hope for the series. I'm so excited about this forthcoming episode!!
