First post episode post again! :) I'm on a roll! Anyway, this was acute episode wasn't it? Plenty o cheap ha-has and "Awwww" factor. Loved the skiing sequences. And how about that smile on Byer's face when the bad guys got caught! that was cool. And of course Jimmy's Sally Field imitation...

All in all, I liked this episode. Not their best, but I still liked it.

One thing I would have like to see was Byers looking at Jimmy's chart like in the movie.

Yves has a soft spot in her heart for Jimmy... no doubt. I hereby form the clan of Jimmy-Yves 'shippers. :)

Am I the only one who thinks the warehouse in which the illegal activities were going down looked a lot like the one from Raiders of the Lost Ark in which they placed the Ark of the Covenant?

Not much to nitpick in this one. Jimmy is ignorant of the nurse's passes at him. I'd like to see how they got Frohike out of the cabin without detection.

Hmm, it doesn't look too cold to me, despite the shivering of Frohike, Byers, and Langley - their breath is not condensing.

For that matter, the "I-hate-civilization" guy didn't look cold, though he wasn't wearing a parka or anything.

Also, these guys supposedly live in Washington DC, but Washington state has very mild winters, certainly near the coast anyway. Why would they be unused to cold weather of any kind?

I had to laugh at Langley's version of winter clothes: a whole bunch of t-shirts.

It's probably a wet cold, not a dry cold :) But seriously, sitting around for some time watching can you leave you very cold, even if the temp. is only 10 C or so.

For that matter, the "I-hate-civilization" guy didn't look cold, though he wasn't wearing a parka or anything.

I guess he is used to the cold, being the tough, independet hunter type who doesn't want to depend on fire or sth. to keep him warm.

I found that very funny, too. Has he never heard of a pullover? :)

Maybe this whole gunman-series is meant funny, but I don't understand the whole idea of this ep. They want to take a photo of how an order for gall bladders of protected bears are made
(did the writers mess up the real problem of chinese keeping small bears, not grizzlies, locked up in cages to extract their gall juice? The WWF is protesting against that practice, but the bears aren't killed, since alive you get more juice.)
But how would a picture of two guys meeting and making a deal prove anything to anybody? The bad hunter guy isn't carrying a bunch of these gall bladders around, and from a picture you couldn't make out if these gall bladders are from endangerend grizzlies or pigs.

If they want to catch bad hunter guy, why not call enviroment protection agency, the rangers or whatever its called, when they see the skin of an endangered grizzly hanging at his hut? Isn't killing an endangered bear forbidden? Isn't that the whole idea, to nab the bad hunter guy?

Who gave jimmy an expensive mirror-reflex camera during the skiing scene instead of a cheap automatic, encased in hard-plastic cover for the event of a fall? Is Jimmy such an ace that he never considered the opportunity of falling? Even then the camera should be put in a case, because of the wetness of the snow.

Jimmy in hospital, suspecting the doc, made me wonder, too. Granted, he is not gifted with any intelligence or insight, but he watched "americas most wanted", he suspects, and talks to everybody about his suspicion expect calling the darn show! He claims lamely he can't call the police, because he doesn't have evidence, but I thought the whole idea of the TV show was to turn in your neighbors by calling the show, which would then investigate and find out if your neighbor was a murderer or really innocent at all.

If the doc is innocent, why does he turn around when jimmy calls out the suspects name? Why does everybody suddenly believe him that he has a wig because he suffers from hair loss and worked charitable before, without any proof?

And why does the real killer poison people? He is annoyed by jimmy, but what about the people before? Is he just another crazy serial killer, or is there a motive?
