I hope so. So far "The Lone Gunmen" has been funny enough, and is vastly better than Chris Carter's "other" show of late.
It'll be pretty depressing if X-Files gets renewed for yet another pointless season and "Gunmen" doesn't.
I think it will get renewed, but I don't think it will stick around for too many seasons. But I could be wrong.
And I think Millenium and Harsh Realm where pretty good. I would like to have seen where Harsh Realm was going.
I read somewhere the fates of X- files and Lone gunman are linked, by Chris Carters upcoming contract negotiations. If Lone Gunmen go down, it will compound with Harsh Realm and Millinium and Carter will refuse to do anymore X-files.
The Lone Gunmen wasn't on the FOX Fall Schedule I saw on Zap2it.com today. But then again it isn't a final schedule, that will be announced Thursday.
I think that Fox should move Lone Gunmen to FX, where it won't have to draw the INSANELY HUGE ratings a network show must. On cable, Gunmen wouldn't need much more that it's "cult" following to stay afloat. Oh, by the way, I don't have cable. So if the DID move Gunmen to FX, I STILL wouldn't be able to see it. But I don't care. All I want is this fine example of quality television to survive.

No Lone Gunmen
D'oh
it might be back...dont worry...about winter time half/most/ or all of those new shows will be axed...and chances are they'll bring back lone gonemen mid season...
I didnt think theyd bring back police videos last time but the did.
But...in case fox is deadset on axing it..anyone know anyplace where we can email or write fox to keep it on?
Write especially. Written complaints seem to carry more weight than e-mails.
Actually, Dan R, if you follow that link it lists the intended mid season replacements, and Lone gunman is not one of them.
Yeah. I hate to rain on your parade, but you seem to be hoping for a network to make an inteligent decidion concerning it's programing
*snicker*
Uh huh. Sure...
Unfortunately, though I have cable, I can't get FX! However, I can get the Fox Family Channel. Therefore, I'd like to see this show again.
Why not do the ALF/Dukes of Hazzard/Dallas thing and just have a TV movie wrapping up the story?
Because Fox (or someone else) has to pay to shoot the TV movie. Glen Morgan & James Wong tried to get something like that for their excilent show Space Above & Beyond but Fox wouldn't even do that. Fox has no respect for their fans, just dollars and cents. These are the same people who didn't even give Married With Children a chance to do a real final episode, even though Married... was their first hit show, and produced ratings for them for 10 years.
Yet, despite all our pent up hatered, we continue to be zombies and stare for hours, losing our abilities to think independatly and...um...uh...I forget...wonder what's on the tube...
In its last two seasons, Married... was the (then currently) longest running sitcom on TV.
Dont forget this is the same network that cancelled "The visitor"
Just what is this supposedly "All NEW Episode" that is on tonight? i though it was cancelled!
Well, I'd never seen it before...
Check out the "E True Hollywood Story" on "Married...With Children." Despite it being a long running hit and making tons of money for them, Fox basically threw it away after 10 years.
