Even though this was the worst Highlander movie I have to say that Michael Ironside's performance in this movie was quite good.

He always makes a film worth watching.

Zeist. Need I say more? That's the major nitpick for this version of the film. :)

By Wolverine on Saturday, June 08, 2002 - 1:25 am:

The film by itself is ok. I had liked it a lot.
Then I read what people wrote on the Internet...
Ok it does not fit with the tv series. But it's
a good story.

By Chris Diehl on Sunday, February 23, 2003 - 1:58 am:

Wolverine, please elaborate. This movie not only violates the storyline of the series, but both it and the series violated the storyline of the first movie. I will not say you are wrong to think it's a good movie, or that you like it, but you know you are in a severe minority, and I would like to see you make a defense of this movie and what you liked about it. I will grant that if this movie, and almost all the modern scenes from the first, were edited together into one, it would be an OK if not great movie. I will also grant it has moments. However, these moments are scattered in a rather hard-to-believe movie. Stuff we accepted in the original were basically flushed away in favor of something totally different, sort of like the midichlorian idea in The Phantom Menace.

Six words, Hollywood! Six words! "THE PLANET ZEIST, 500 YEARS AGO"!!!!!!!!!!!

That is all from me. If you want more, go watch Noah Antwiler's review of this pathetic stinkbomb at www.spoonyexperiment.com . It's absolutely hilarious, he points out and mercilessly mocks everything that's wrong with it!

And what exactly is wrong with Christopher Lambert? Why doesn't he talk properly?

What was Virginia Madsen thinking? At least she would go on to do "Candyman" and "Sideways"! (And she has really great and rather large breasts to boot!)

And dont get me started on John C. McGinley! He ALWAYS plays an annoying obnoxious douchebag in EVERYTHING he's ever done! Why is that?!

I really do wonder these things!

BTW, if I had ever had to work with Dr. Cox I think I would have brutally murdered him. And the Giant Janitor too. Consequences be damned!

A man can only take so much. A man can only be pushed so far. You all know what I mean. You all understand exactly what I'm saying, but none of you would ever come out and openly admit it like I would.

Just sayin'.........
