Anchor Bay are distributing the Season 1 set from November 2002. The prices will be considerably cheaper than what the official website is charging. Hopefully, they'll be releasing the other seasons shortly after.

Anchor Bay have said that they'll be releasing Season 2 around July 2003. They also have plans to release the rest of the seasons as soon as they become available.

I must be the only one buying these DVD's. Anyway, Season 3 is out and it is loaded with extras (over 700 minutes worth according to the material on the back of the box). I've only watched the first episode so far (The Samurai) but there is an 11 minutes behind the scenes guide and voice-over commentary which appears to be the norm for most of the episodes.

Other TV series DVD producers please take note.
