Imagine Gary Hobson waking one morning and picking up his paper to find that a man would be found decapited in a alley way around midnight. He goes to the alley to find Duncan Macleod fighting another immortal and stops the fight. Or even witnesses the quickening.

What would Duncan do?
What would Gary do?

Of course Gary's existence in the Highlander universe would cause a major nitpick. Since there others who carry the paper in other cities the immortals would never be able to carry on a fight. (Unless of course the fight did not make the paper).

I don't really watch Early Edition that much, is there a *newspaper* in every city?

There is Newspapers is a couple of cities. As far as I know, we've only seen Newspapers in Chicago, New York, and Toledo. There are probably Newspaper in other cities as well.
