A Wesley Crusher clone or a good character. I know there have been some Highlander fans who really hated Richie but personally I did not mind him. Do you think it was a mistake when they turned him into an immortal as well. Or did it add new demensions to the character.

I hated him in the first season. He seemed to be there for comic relief. I was gutted at the end of Archangel, cause I ended up liking the character. They seemed to have planned to make him an immie from the first episode although later episodes seemed to throw us of that track.

I hated it when they killed him as well. From what I understand Richie was suspose to become immortal in the first episode. He was originally suspose to die during the battle with Slan. But they decided to wait awhile.

I absolutely hated Ritchie until he became immortal, then he got a little wiser and alot less irritating. I was sorry they killed him off, too. First Tess and then him. Kinda killed the show, come to think of it..

Kinda tough being an Immortal and then not even getting to live past your first 100 years.They should have allowed him to live a bit longer.
