What do you consider the saddest moment in the Highlander saga. I would say it would have to be a toss up between Tessa's death or Richie's death. One of the most gripping scenes is when Joe collaspes after Richie is killed and Duncan offers his head to Methos. (I know that is not in order).
Tessa's death is the saddest moment, I think. I almost quit watching after that one because I thought she was a great character and brought a lot to the series. Actually, I quit watching before Richie's death, so I didn't see that. The show got too out-there, and I didn't like that Girl of the Week thing where Duncan would do the nasty with whoever he happened to meet.
For me the saddest moment was at the end of Studies in Light. That was a beautiful episode, and when Linda died at the end, I had tears in my eyes.
I would have to say the saddest moment that I recall seeing was Tessa's death.Been watching the reruns on TNN lately(soon to be known as Spike Tv)and they have only gotten as far as season 2's
Pharoah's Daugther which is this afternoon.Haven't seen Richie's death as yet.
A good question here is what if Tessa had been the one who was immortal and Richie was the one who had died,or what if both had died or if both had become immortal?
How would Duncan's life be different if Tessa had been with him to the end?
