there was a episode where the Nx-01 had some sortta ameoba...what was it s title?

By Dan Gunther on Saturday, February 19, 2005 - 11:48 am:

No, the NX-01 never encountered an amoeba, but the NCC-1701 under Kirk did. It was in TOS season two's "The Immunity Syndrome."

By Rene on Saturday, February 19, 2005 - 2:02 pm:

This episode is a two parter by the way

Do you mean the one that grabbed Archer and several others in the cargo bay? The one with those easily offended guys that would practically go to war with you if you even looked at them the wrong way. Vox-Solta or whatever it was called.

By ScottN on Saturday, February 19, 2005 - 9:34 pm:

Chris, that was two spearate episodes. The one that grabbed people in the cargo bay was Vox Sola. The one with the easily offended guys (Kreetassians) was A Night in Sickbay.

By Chris Booton (Cbooton) on Saturday, February 19, 2005 - 10:05 pm:

I'm pretty sure they were also in Vox Sola.

I recall Travis talking to their Captain (because Archer etc were unavailable because of the creature) and apologising for exposing them to the horribly offensive sight of seeing someone eat in public in exchange for information on the creature.

By ScottN on Saturday, February 19, 2005 - 10:15 pm:

You're right. I think they got info on the entity from the Kreetassians.

By Rene on Sunday, February 20, 2005 - 6:36 am:

This episode is a 2 parter

By Adam Bomb on Wednesday, March 02, 2005 - 9:43 am:

This ep takes us back to the "Constitution" class ship, specifically the "Defiant." I'm always thrilled to go back to any part of TOS, regardless of whatever form it takes.

By Will on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 - 3:03 pm:

Go to www.trektoday.com to see two photos from this episode; Archer and T'Pol are wearing TOS uniforms! Looking forward to how they explain that (even if they're Mirror Archer and Mirror T'Pol). Also, you'll see T'Pol with long brown hair; a shame she didn't always look like that!

By ScottN on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 - 3:27 pm:

Will, that's an easy one. They picked them up off of the Defiant!

By LUIGI NOVI on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 - 5:28 pm:

Pics of Archer's crew in TOS uniforms

By Thande on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 - 5:40 pm:

Note that the woman standing behind T'Pol is wearing a Mirror Universe version of an Enterprise-era uniform

By Rene on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 - 8:16 pm:

The more I read about this two parter and see pics, the more I can't wait. Come on April 22!

By Dan Gunther on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 - 10:18 pm:

Hear, hear!!!

By Bugs Bunny on Thursday, March 17, 2005 - 12:10 am:

Hare! Hare!

By Mr. Mot on Thursday, March 17, 2005 - 1:17 am:

Hair, hair!

By The Prince on Thursday, March 17, 2005 - 1:17 am:

Heir, heir!

By Adam Bomb on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 2:50 am:

A definite keeper.

By Thande on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 5:23 am:

I haven't seen any spoilers but I can make a stab at the plot, I think...

Evil Captain Forrest finds Defiant, sends over Evil Commander Archer and co., who upon reading the ship's databanks and/or meeting a survivor become enamoured with the alternate Federation and resolve to mutiny against Evil Captain Forrest. They then take the ship with them and set off on a Blakes 7esque voyage.

By Will on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 10:20 am:

Sure like to know why they changed clothes, though.
I wonder if they'd be so quick to change uniforms if they found an empty Enterprise-class ship with those groovy soft pastel colors from STTMP?

By Evil Mirror Archer on Friday, March 18, 2005 - 10:31 am:

"Pastels. They are weak. We must eliminate them."

By Will on Friday, April 08, 2005 - 3:06 pm:

So let's see if I've got this right;

In 1968 we saw a ship from 2268 disappear, not realizing it went back in time to 2254, because it wasn't until 2005 that we saw where it went, although it arrives in an alternate universe to the alternate universe we've been watching since 2001, when the year was 2250 in both alternate universes.

Sounds simple to me! :)

By Darth Sarcasm on Friday, April 08, 2005 - 3:51 pm:

Replace 2254 and 2250 with 2154 and 2150, respectively, and I think you got it. :)

By ScottN on Friday, April 08, 2005 - 6:28 pm:

Also, I thought that the universe that the Defiant disappeared into was completely empty.

Anti nit: Maybe the Defiant fell through a second rift (which included a timewarp) from the empty universe into the Mirror universe.

By Chris Todaro on Friday, April 08, 2005 - 7:57 pm:

I was thinking that maybe at the end of these two episodes the Defiant is re-named "Enterprise" and we'll realize that Kirk, Scotty, Uhura, and McCoy were actually on the Defiant from their own universe without realizing it.

This is just a theory, not a spoiler. I have no inside information.

By Dan Gunther on Saturday, April 09, 2005 - 2:40 am:

Probably not, Chris, but that's actually a really cool idea!

By Harvey Kitzman on Friday, April 15, 2005 - 7:40 pm:

Man the previews look COOL!

By Adam Bomb on Friday, April 15, 2005 - 10:50 pm:

Hey New York City area fans (that means you, Luigi.) This episode (and maybe the rest of the series run) will be bumped for Yankee baseball on Fridays. It will be run at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 23.
