Multiple Versions of Enterprise Episodes?

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Enterprise: Enterprise Kitchen Sink: Multiple Versions of Enterprise Episodes?

A friend let me borrow a copy of Harbinger and it contained different material than how I originally saw the episode.

During the little mating scene between Trip and T'pol, they showed most of T'pol's butt. Apparently in locations outside the USA, they sometimes show less restricted versions of the episodes.

I have no interest in seeing T'pols overly thin body and rather they put something on her besides the form fitting outfit, but I am wondering now if there are multiple versions, or extended cuts of episodes out there in general? Are people in one location missing scenes that others in the world might be seeing? From a nitpickers perspective, its rather hard to nitpick if there are multiple versions of episodes out there.

It kind of makes you wonder if some episodes that people find of poor quality or high quality are influenced by the fact that the version they saw wasn't the same as another person.

Along the same lines, for the Enterprise episodes that are being put on DVD (if they're not on them already), what version are they going to use for the DVD's?

This is in the Enterprise Sink but the topic can really be applied to all Star Trek and actually, all TV Shows.

Anon, do you mean a BetacamSP for broadcast? Betamax was a consumor format, betacamSP is a professional format that was often used throughout the 90s for production.
