"Even if they had to slow to impulse to traverse the edge of the Expanse, they should have been well away from Enterprise at that time." Obi-Juan

I agree that Enterprise caught up with them rather quickly, but the Andorians were nowhere near the edge of the Expanse during this ep.

"I guess the Enterprise didn't share all their data with the Andorians." JoshM

Enterprise was getting their information from the more sophistocated Andorian sensors. Enterprise didn't do the sharing, the Andorians did.

Archer mentions the atoll nuclear test site and T'Pol calls it a proving ground. (where have I heard that before?) Wouldn't a similar term like test site or test range be more appropriate? T'Pol was by no means incorrect, but proving ground is not the first thing I would think to call it. Why was Shran on the Enterprise bridge instead of his own for most of the ep? I too thought the weapon was much larger to fit inside the shuttle bay, oh well.

Josh M: Do Enterprise's nacelles always shut off when it's at impulse? This is the first episode I've ever noticed that they're actually dark when not at warp.
I noticed this too Josh, but only recently I'm afraid, when Enterprise was about to enter the anomoly field both of their nacelles were darkened. To anwer your question, no, this was a nit here.

I was somehow able to talk my wife, who is uninitiated to Trek, into watching this season and I realized that I've never watched the eps in order before :-) Always good to see Shran

Funny to see you make the last two posts on this thread, over six years apart. :-)

Since I came into the Enterprise 'scene' somewhat late there's actually several threads in which this happens, aside from possibly the time-lapse.

Good to 'see' you again Josh! :-)
