and this Sunday is the Series Finale of Enterprise (after seven seasons just like the other three post-original series)

What would be the plot for the series finale? (and no, there's no Will Riker in it)

We open on the Enterprise, hanging motionless in space alongside another NX class starship, the USS Discovery NX-04, and the Intrepid, which had been assigned to Captain Malcolm Reed earlier in the season. We then see Captain Archer, sitting on the edge of his captain's chair, looking fidgety. He rises, flexes his hands, and cracks his knuckles as he wanders nervously around the bridge.

Trip, leaning on one of the poles at the back of the bridge: "Relax, Captain. They'll be here. They're not gonna miss this."

Archer shoots him a look, then speaks to the thin air: "Computer. Time?"

Computer, a more privative, somewhat more mechanical voice than we are used to from TNG: "The time is 15:25 Ship's Standard."

T'Pol, with a hint of frustration: "We ARE early."

Archer: "Not that early."

Mayweather: "Sir, I'm reading multiple ships approaching at warp."

Archer, hurries over and sits back in his chair: "On screen!"

We see the viewscreen. A Vulcan starship drops out of warp and turns to face the Enterprise. As it does so, two more starships join it, an Andorian and a Tellarite.

Archer: "Open a channel to all ships." He waits for an acknowledgment, then continues. "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Pluto. We will be proceeding the rest of the way on Impulse along the, well, the parade route. If you will follow us, we have a Charter to sign."

We pull back from the Enterprise, revealing two more Vulcan, Andorian, and Tellarite ships, which begin to move into formation around the Enterprise. We pull back further along the path to Earth, passing hundreds if not thousands of other starships of various designs and species origin that are lining the so-called "parade route" to Earth.
