Wow. I was listening to Disc One of this set, while I was checking out this board! Wierd.

Excellent box set! Not one song don't I like. I played Disc 1 at work a few weeks ago cuz it's got my favorite MB songs on it. Funny thing now is that "Timothy Leary's Dead" has finally come true. Well, the title has, at least. I wonder if anyone played it at his funeral? Given my sense of humor, if I was him I'd want that song played.

Actually, after his death, whenever MB performed the song they changed it to Timothy Leary Lives.

I think that the best of the classic early Moody Blues albums may not be a Moody Blues album at all. It may be the Hayward/Lodge "Blue Jays" album, which is deservedly well-represented on this anthology.

I didn't know that, Brian, but it makes sense. Did they change all of the lyrics to that song then?

Check out track 6 from disc 2, "Out And In", from the Children's Children album. This sounds like it could be a Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd song, doesn't it??
