An excellent introduction to the blues, it is the only Robert Johnson album anyone would ever need. It's all here. Every one of Mr. Johnson's songs, in every alternate take, from "Crossroads Blues" to "Love in Vain" to "Sweet Home Chicago" to "Come On In My Kitchen" to "Dust My Broom" to "Traveling Riverside Blues". Many rock acts such as Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin have covered these songs. You owe it to yourself to hear the originals.
