Quite possibly the first box set as we now know it. Before this triple disc set, box sets were three or four of an acts' albums thrown into one package. Biograph contains Dylan's hits, misses and some previously unreleased material. While by no means complete ("Maggie's Farm" and "Rainy Day Women #12 and 35" are among the missing), it does provide an excellent overview of Mr. Zimmerman's career, hitting all the highs, and includes all the really important Bob Dylan songs. The one major failing of this set is that it is nowhere near being in chronological order.
