I HATE that •••• show. I think it's awful, almost as bad as Sex and the City. Why those two shows get awards and nominations, while the vastly superior writing and acting of OZ gets nothing is beyond me.

That said, there are some pretty good songs on this soundtrack. I managed to hear a good portion of it on the Mitch Albom show a week or two ago. It was his album of the week and he played some snippets.

Sorry, Brian. I LOVE "Sex and the City." The first season was unending male bashing, but in the second season the show came into its own, treating men fairly, especially the character of Steve last season. He was a decent guy stuck in the wrong relationship; which one of us hasn't been at one time or another? I do agree with you on "Oz", though. At one time, I called "Oz" the best show on TV. It still is one of my few "don't miss" shows.
"The Sopranos" started to bore me this season, not with the violence, but with the over-emphasis on food and cultural references. Particularly annoying was Carmela's making a big deal out of an angel on top of the Christmas tree. Some people, my wife included, make much out of this, but I consider it insignificant. The episode "Pine Barrens" gave me hope for the show.
That said, I think the theme, A3's "Born under a Bad Sign" is very cool.
