No. 2 by Henry Phillips

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Music: Comedy Albums: No. 2 by Henry Phillips
By Brian Webber on Friday, October 26, 2001 - 1:59 pm:

His apporpiately titled second album is funny as hell!

It starts great with the song She's Talking Again, and closes on a bizarre note with Jane Stop This Crazy Thing.

The album is a mixture of studio recordings such as Fresh Out of Blues and Urban Myth, and with live tracks recorded at a comedy club such as Mystery Girl and Roommate From Hell.

I recommend this album to anyone who likes to laugh.

(What am I doing posting here?)

I can't believe ya'll missed out on Weird Al Yankovic!

(Or maybe I missed it?)

Well, he is listed under Videos. But why that's his only topic, don't ask me. I don't run the place. I only post here.

Strange... for no reason at all, I've had Weird Al's "Eat It" going through my head all day, which of course led to a mental parade of other Weird Al songs. Now I come here, and Weird Al gets mentioned.

I think someone in part one of this board mentioned Steven Wright's 'I Have a Pony.' That is still one of my favorites, especially the joke the album's title is derived from. (I was renting at the time, and contemplated trying that out. I didn't feel like moving again if I got caught. Come to think of it, I didn't feel like taking care of a pony, either.) Too bad the album seems to be extinct!

By Craig I have to learn to format so I can use real emoticons Rohloff on Sunday, March 17, 2002 - 3:48 pm:

By the way, Machiko, you're posting here because you're the "random weird poster around here," remember? :-)

By Benn on Sunday, March 17, 2002 - 4:06 pm:

Formatting is fairly simple Craig. For instance, if you type \ clipart { happy } together they create . Over to your left you should see a folder that says "Documentation". Under it is a folder called "Formatting". That should tell you everything you need to know.

BTW, MJ, you could create a "Weird Al" topic if you really feel the need for one. Y'know? Y'know?

By Machiko Jenkins (Mjenkins) on Monday, March 18, 2002 - 3:41 am:

I could, of course...I simply won't.

I think I want to listen to Weird Al's Running with Scissors album now, though.

And Craig...you're learning. We might install you on the Puppet Council yet.

Actually, Benn, there isn't a folder to the left of my screen. Weird, huh? I think it may have something to do with the fact that I initially got into NitCentral via a link from another site, rather than through the front door, so to speak. I'll try to figure it out ASAP. (Thanks, btw.)

Machiko, apparently I'm not learning fast enough, because you lost me! Or maybe the cold medication I'm on is stifling what's left of my brain...
