Any one care to discuss this new re-mix of the Elvis classic? Personaly I really like it, and I'm a big Elvis fan. I wouldn't mind hearing some more new takes on other Elvis tracks. I have heard some say that the music should not be messed with. What do you think?

I haven't heard the remix myself. I'd kinda like to hear it. But I'd also like to hear the original first. Then again, I must confess that I'm not much of an Elvis fan. I respect his place in rock and roll history, but I don't think he's all that, y'know.


As far as remixes in general go, I've really have yet to hear one I thought made the songs that were remixed better or added an interesting twist to the original. I mean, those remixes on the Queen albums were pretty dismal. "We Will Rock You" was just fine in its original release on the News of the World album.
