"My man" Ray appeared on SNL on 11/12/77 and he was quite funny.

Ray treated the audience to some saxaphone playing. I never knew he played the sax.

Seeing & hearing him playing the sax broadened my respect for the man.

Of course Belushi did his Ray impersonation which delighted Ray to no end.
