The singer of "Eyes Without A Face" now has a "Holiday Album"...just in time for Christmas. I saw the CD at "Best Buy"

Somehow I can't picture Billy Idol singing Christmas Carols.

Are the songs entitled....

"Deck the Halls....Before I Deck you!"

"I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas (Snort, Snort)"

No, the last one is...

"It's a nice day for a White Christmas"

How about:

"Dancing With My Elf"?

For those who don't believe me:

Billy Idol

One of William Broad's more recent albums, The Devil's Playground (which is a damned good Billy Idol CD, btw), has a song on it called, "Yellin' At the XMas Tree". The song deals with spending the holidays with a, shall we say, dysfunctional family, that includes an alcoholic father who does all the yelling. It's actually pretty good.

Floating around - the Net mostly - are such songs as "An Axl Rose Christmas" and "What if Eminem Sang 'Jingle Bells'".

np - "Empty Shell (live)" by Fritz (the band Stevie Nicks and Lyndsay Buckingham were in before Buckingham Nicks and Fleetwood Mac.)

Don't forget "(I am...) Santa Claus", which is what would happen if Ozzie Osbourne wrote an Xmas song.

Great. Now I have to edit my Amazon viewing history so they'll stop recommending me Billy Idol CDs.

My own fault. I had to look. It's not that I didn't believe John or anything but just....morbid curiosity.

And I'm not sure which is more disturbing: Billy Idol singing Christmas songs or Billy Idol in a suit and tie.

Ditto, Kevin

Oh, that is sad - almost as sad as Johnny Rotten advertising margarine.
