A Question Of Trust

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Digimon: Digital Monsters: Season Three: A Question Of Trust
When a "kid" is suspected of stalking people at night, Takato suspects that Guilmon is responsible. So when he supposedly catches Guilmon in the act (poor Digimon was set up by Impmon), Guilmon becomes sad when Takato yells at him.

Another Digimon bioemerges, Devidramon, and starts to attack the city. Guilmon tries to take him on, but is no match. When Terriermon finds out Impmon was the true stalker, he reveals it to Takato. Takato tells Guilmon he forgives him and Guilmon digivolves to Growlmon and defeats Devidramon.

Yamaki watches the events, saying this needs to be hidden from the public.

To be continued...

I really do have to wonder...In the season 3 storyline, the first two seasons were just a tv show. So how did the writers of that show get so many things right? The levels (rookie, champion, etc), the various types (data, virus, vaccine) and specific Digimon (Devidramon, Agumon, etc). The fact that the Digital World was created from data from the Internet. Do they have a spy in Hypnos or something?

Maybe it works the other way around? Perhaps the information concerning levles and types and all that was put onto the net when Digimon first came out and was then incorperated into the "real" Digimon? I don't recall anyone saying that "real" Digimon have been running around for longer than the franchise has existed. (I could be wrong, of course, as I missed this episode and the one that preceded it)

Impmon looks like a superdeformed Harley Quinn.

The cop really had a burr up his butt when he thought Takato was the kid interrupting couples kissing.
