Janyu's Ark

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Digimon: Digital Monsters: Season Three: Janyu's Ark
The four Sovereign request Calumon's help in saving the Digital World. Calumon releases a light with digivolves many of the Digimon into Megas to help battle the chaos.

Beelzemon reverts to Impmon.

Marineangemon becomes attached to Kenta.

The kids receive an email from the real world telling them about the ark that will bring them home in 40 minutes.

Calumon chooses to go with his friends, while Rika and Renamon choose to go looking for Impmon.

Is it Januy's Ark or Janyu's Ark?

I thought the scene where they sent a message "Will you help us save a large group of children." was rather simplistic. I should think most people who get that message would say, "Spam! Delete!"

Well, you know, we never heard just how many copies of that message actually got sent. For all whe know, most of them may actually have zaped the mesage. I'm sure there's extensive footage of people deleating the message that didn't air in the finished episode :)

Also, I'm pretty sure it's "Janyu"

I thought Janyu was how it was spelled onscreen. (Although I have been wrong before.)

What about the additional footage of the people who did help out also accepting the messages about someone needing a bank account number to get millions of dollars out of another country or sending credit card numbers to see if they are a winner? ;-)

Hehehe, yeah! Why don't they show us this stuff? :D

So is Marineangemon's Ultimate form Marinepatamon? ;-)

Great Line: “Thanks Zhuster! It’s been real!” Terriermon, to Zhuqiaomon

Where has Jeri been hiding her puppet all this time?

The paradox about the shape of the Digiworld continues. When Calumon uses the shining digivolution, we’re shown a number of shots of Digimon all over the Digiworld reacting, yet even though many of the digimon are either on the same level as Calumon or one above them (if the size of the globe thinggie in the sky means anything), the light still comes down from above.

Once again, Yamaki manages to get the messenger to work for no discernable reason.

No discernable reason? Clearly it all has to do with the inbuilt Plot Contrivance Detector. ;-)

I think Jeri hid her sock puppet while Leomon was alive because she was probably afraid that he might think she was still being a 'baby'by holding on to it.She brought it out from hiding after his death because it was her way of coping while at the same time withdrawing back into herself again. That is just my own thought on the matter.
Notice that no-one really pays much attention to what's going on with her other than she seems a bit moodier than usual after Leomon's death. It's not until they get back to Earth that they become aware that Jeri isn't herself..literally!
