His Kingdom For A Horse

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: Digimon: Digital Monsters: Season Three: His Kingdom For A Horse
The new Digimon is Justimon, Cyberdramon and Ryo’s bio-merged Mega. He volunteers to keep the D-reaper busy while Sakuyamon and Megagargomon rescue Galantmon. Meanwhile, the D-reaper messes with Takato’s head with it’s knowledge of Jeri’s memories. Thankfully, Beelzemon and Calumon are also trying to get into the Chaos and rescue Jeri. They find an cloaked orb perched in the middle of the Hypnos towers. Inside, Beelzemon is caught by the D-reaper but Calumon makes it to Jeri. Alas but she’s too lost in sadness to notice him. While this goes on, Sakyuamon and Megagargomon break into the Chaos, but it turns out to be Marineangemon who saves the day by overpowering the Jeri clone and restoring everyone’s power. Back outside, Justimon and Gardromon continue to battle the D-reaper’s latest toy, with some timely help from Antilomon and the other Tamers. But the victory is not very sweet, Beelzemon and Calumon are gone, Rika is sorry for Alice losing her partner, and they still haven’t rescued Jeri!

Shibumi talks about how the ark’s data didn’t disperse because it was self-aware. But what about all the Digimon who’ve died? Weren’t they self-aware too? Why couldn’t they hold their data together?

As Jeri’s Dad leaves, Takato asks him not to be angry with her because “it’s not her fault.” Um, what’s not her fault? The fact that the D-Reaper’s got her? Maybe it’s not, but good ol’ Dad was angry with Jeri long before anyone knew that the D-Reaper had replaced her. He was angry about the fact that she ran away from home and went to the Digital World, and frankly, Takato, that was very much her own fault.

How did the Tamers catch up with Jeri’s Dad so fast?
