Inside the D-Reaper’s brain, Jeri still isn’t moving. Inside her mind, however, Jeri’s trauma over losing Leomon continues to meld with the pain of the death of her mother years ago. Outside, the ever-expanding Chaos forces Hypnos, and the Tamers to retreat again; all except for Ryo, who seems to have vanished. Back at Hypnos headquarters, the team works to repair the ark, now named Grani, while seeking a way into the Chaos it get Jeri and company. Speaking of whom, Jeri’s parents finally join the other Tamer’s loved ones at Hypnos, but her father is clearly not in a good way. Enough so that he steals Hypnos’ van and charges the Chaos himself. When the D-reaper attempts to scan Jeri’s memory for information on him, its finds it has difficulty processing the concept of parents. As it struggles, Jeri finally begins to notice what’s going on outside. Galantmon, Sakyuamon, and a returning Justimon continue to fight, but they don’t make much progress until Grani (with the help of a blue card) emerges in this world. But, even though they destroy manage to destroy even more of the D-reaper’s drones, Jeri is still a prisoner and the Chaos continues to expand…

Technically, this isn’t a nit, but why in the Digiworld did the creators create a card-swiping animation for Suzi, but not Kazu, Kenta, or Ryo? I mean, she does it, what, ONCE?
When the footage of the Tamers starts beaming onto screens all over Japan, one of the places we see is Takato’s class. But that makes no sense whatsoever, it’s already been established that the whole area around the school has been evacuated. I mean, the Tamers even spend a few nights in the vacant school building! Why would the government let anyone back into the building now? The Chaos is ten times closer than it was when they evacuated! (“Yeah, I suppose it’s a little dangerous, but we’ve all had our kids stuck in out apartments for weeks now and they’re driving us nuts! We don’t care what it takes, just give them something to keep them out of our hair!”)
