I got the DVD release of a few of the episodes, and I have to admit... not nearly as bad as I thought it woul be.

My favorite moment from the series:

"All right, knave! You have C-3PO to deal with now!"

You gotta love Antony Daniels.

There was also an animated Droids movie called "The Great Heep", which aired on TV in 1986.

I remember being at a friend's house and watching this, but I wasn't really sure just what was going on. The animation wasn't too bad, though!
