The kenner X wing is a off, looks closer to a Viper

The Hasbro Darth Vader ship is quite good and close to scale.
The Hasbro AT AT is nice but its large head looks weird, necessaryy to accomodate the 3.75 inch figures. Better than the goofy old kenner version.
I like the old Kenner snow speeder its proportions are consistent.

The Falcon is similar in size to the AMT model kit except its head portion is too big. I can only fit the Han figure in the cockpit - forget about the larger Chewy figure.

The Tie Fighter by Kenner is alright but the problem is that its solar powered wings are half the size as they should be. The newer Hasbro version improves on this.

According to the History Channel series The Toys That Built America, Mattel turned down the Star Wars license, as they felt that movies were fleeting, and it wasn't worth their time and effort. Eventual licensee Kenner could not have action figures ready for Christmas of 1977, and were essentially giving out IOUs; the action figures were finally released in March of 1978. Kenner trashed action figures with the title Revenge of the Jedi when the title was changed to Return of.. (Mattel did license toys from Battlestar Galactica. And lost their shirt when that show was cancelled after one season.)
