By Padawan supplemental on Monday, December 04, 2000 - 1:27 pm:

Oh, My X is not the same one from the v.s. section of the Jedi's Sink. And here is the URL for the LICC Site: http://www.geocities.com/kira_sharp/

By Lea Frost on Monday, December 04, 2000 - 6:16 pm:

The ones I can remember:

Ko-Ko, Captain Corcoran, Coily, Your Friendly Neighborhood Shakespeare Geek, the Federation Computer, the Spy Under the End Table, James T. Kirk (on occasion), Thot Gor, Constance Goodheart, An overly pedantic poster, Chief O'Brien, Legate Damar, Weyoun Nine, Nozzink, Mike's Socksy the Mike's Socks Sprite, History Moment -- Addendum, the Population of Hobbiton, Patrick Roy, John Donne, and probably a few others.

By Padawan on Tuesday, December 05, 2000 - 11:07 am:

Actually, I forgot to list a few of my characters, so:

The Phantom Return of the Empire's New Hope Strikes Back
Harper's Bazaar-oworlder, Librarian of Unseen University, Deceased redshirt singing blues, The Caterpillar...

Bizzarro World
Ensign Sane, Inquisitor #25 and Mr Oblivious.

Lea Frost, were you James T Kirk on LICC? And I'm sure you were Private Willis at the Political Musings section!

By Lea Frost on Tuesday, December 05, 2000 - 1:07 pm:

I wasn't Kirk on LICC, only in Phantom Returns and only once or twice.

Private Willis was me, though. :-)

By Kira Sharp on Tuesday, December 05, 2000 - 8:05 pm:

Well, this is all old news to anyone who was a regular on the old Confessions board, but I'll take up space anyway.

Heroes:
Frangelica
Superrabbi
Scott Free
Settergen Snow
Heliotrope the Purpleshirt
Second Hooded Magician

Villains:
Dr. Duke Evil-Wicked
Marshal Ancine
Vash
The Muffin Men
K/-NIT TV programming director

Miscellaneous:
Mysterious Sithlike Sylph of the Shadows
Plot Wizard (one instance)
The Powers That Be (one instance)
Ship's Computer

That's all I can remember for now. There are others I've forgotten-- if you suspect I played a character, ask. I may or may not confess, but I won't lie. The only real news here is that Frangelicoh (now Subway Man) isn't me. I move his character around so he doesn't get lost but all posts supposedly written by him are really written by him. He says he'll become more active in the League soon.

By Padawan on Thursday, December 07, 2000 - 12:21 pm:

Frangelicoh/Subway Man is the person you're married to, right?

Oh, and were you also Robin in the early days of LICC?

By The Observer on Thursday, December 07, 2000 - 4:28 pm:

Engaged, I believe. You would have told us, right Kira?

By Kira Sharp on Friday, December 08, 2000 - 10:04 am:

No, yes, and yes. Yes engaged, no not Robin. I used Robin in the body-switching story but the original "Holy _____, Batman!" posts were not written by me.

By Padawan on Saturday, December 09, 2000 - 9:07 am:

Some more people I forgot to mention that I was:

On LICC I was Ensign Oldjokesrevamped, Lt Frankovsky, Descartes the ship's parrot and Jolly Old Saint Santa. I also appeared as Quagmire on Bizzarro World. And I'm sure that's everyone I'm ready to confess to being.

By Sherlock Holmes on Sunday, December 10, 2000 - 4:01 pm:

Now, Observer, here lie the facts:

You are one of the ennummerated regular leaguers, since you have confessed to something else on the old Confessions board-- so you admitted. Therefore you must be one of only 17 people.

- You're not Kira or Padawan, because they have spent much effort here in trying to decipher your identity. They have also denied being you.
-You're not Lea, Bob, KAM or Mark, whom you have denied being.
- You're not Jon, Scott, Josh, Greg, or CCabe, who have denied being you.
- You're not Jenny, because then Padawan would know and be wasting his time with the deciphering.
- You're not Chris or Jason, who have been away from their computers or from NitCentral during times when you've posted.
- You're not Pesti, whose style is distinctive.

This leaves two Confessors only: Matthew Patterson and... Jake Dominguez. Many of our guesses have been based on the fact that Jake knows the Observer's identity. But what if JAKE were the Observer?

I'm going to guess that Jake's the one. Why? Because the Observer has written up a well-documented and very time-consuming Compendium for the L.I.C.C., displaying a work-related dedication to the League that only Jake Dominguez the Archiver has matched.

My last guess:: Observer, are you Jake Dominguez?

By Padawan on Monday, December 11, 2000 - 11:41 am:

The Observer said he wasn't a moderator, and Matthew Patterson is a moderator. Excuse me, I have to go...

By Padawan on Monday, December 11, 2000 - 1:40 pm:

Of course, The Observer could have been playing a trick on us all and meant he had already confessed - to being Professor Negative!!!!!

By The Observer on Monday, December 11, 2000 - 1:58 pm:

Very observant, Padawan. I'm not disappointed that I nominated you as an Observer-in-training.

By Padawan on Wednesday, December 13, 2000 - 11:38 am:

Thanks, Jake!

By Padawan, being devious on Wednesday, December 13, 2000 - 11:39 am:

Oooooooooooops!

By The Observer on Wednesday, December 13, 2000 - 2:16 pm:

Ha ha. Didn't I just go through this with being Mark Morgan? Oh well. Okay, I confess. I am the REAL President of the United States. Thank you.

By Bad Singers on Wednesday, December 13, 2000 - 2:26 pm:

He is not Mark Morgan!
He is not called Jake!
He is the one who fills our hearts with joy!
And our leaves he rakes!

He observes all the time!
And sleeps in every day!
He knows good from bad!
And each and every way! (To make sushi!)

He is quite a guy!
He is so nice!
He gives money to small children!
His head is full of lice!

YAAYYYY OBSERVER!

By ScottN on Wednesday, December 13, 2000 - 4:49 pm:

Nobody answered me. Is Jenny Veitch the Observer?

By The Observer on Wednesday, December 13, 2000 - 6:45 pm:

No, Scott. Padawan emailed me, saying that since he and his sister were going to be unavailable for a few days, could Jenny and I collaborate on a post, which I would put up when Nitcentral resurfaced. I did, and together we brought about the temporary demise of Professor Negative.

By Sorik Xtmpfwld on Thursday, December 14, 2000 - 11:31 am:

How did Padawan e-mail the Observer if he doesn't know who he is?

By Padawan on Thursday, December 14, 2000 - 11:55 am:

How about people try to guess each other's roles? On one Phantom Return board Lea Frost asked people to guess who she had been, and this led to the creation of the Confessions board. So how about people try to guess who is who (except for The Observer's identity, of course.)

By The Observer on Thursday, December 14, 2000 - 11:58 am:

I gave Padawan my email address. He's sent me some very lively guesses.

Anyway, Padawan, we have a Character board complete with Author Names. I wrote it. Wouldn't that sort of defeat the purpose?

By Padawan on Thursday, December 14, 2000 - 12:21 pm:

Oh, I mean Phantom Returns and authorless LICC roles. Like Greymoran, and Little Kid, the three ghosts, etc.

By The Observer on Thursday, December 14, 2000 - 12:35 pm:

Is Greymoran either you or Fuzzy Team Mascot?

By Padawan on Thursday, December 14, 2000 - 1:46 pm:

Neither. But I once thought he was FTM.

By Jake Dominguez on Thursday, December 14, 2000 - 3:01 pm:

I think Greymoran is someone new.

By Padawan on Thursday, December 14, 2000 - 3:07 pm:

You mean Nawdle's friend? I thought you or Observer was Greymoran. Maybe not... I'm not sure.

Oh, and while looking through Roll Call I found some roles of mine which weren't listed. I'll do a complete list some other time, maybe when I have more to add to it...

By Nawdles friend, aka Lord of the Hamburgers, aka GundamWolf on Friday, December 15, 2000 - 12:11 pm:

Actually, I'm Lord of the Hamburgers! I have no idea who Greymoran is....but I do like the character.

(I'm not posting as LotH right now, because there are too many plotlines going on currently, and I'm waiting for at least one of them to wrap up)

P.S. LotH is no relation to Hamburger Pattie. I forgot that Nawdle told me about her when I created Lord of the Hamburgers, and he is not going to be my primary character anyway!

By Padawan on Friday, December 15, 2000 - 3:15 pm:

Since I have been Chaotica, Dathon and Outraged Older Gentleman during my Phantom Returns career, I would like to know who was Captain Proton, Warped Writer, Jean-Luc Picard and Crochety Old Gentleman.

Lea Frost: You were also Bad Pun and Falstaff IIRC. And I would think you were "Aphor" as well...
Also, have you ever followed the adventures of LICC since it split with PR? Have you ever posted on any of the Role-play boards except PR?

By ScottN on Friday, December 15, 2000 - 6:36 pm:

Arrgh! I be the Angry Fisherman! Arrgh!

By GundamWolf on Friday, December 15, 2000 - 6:45 pm:

I think I should add that I am not going to use the name GundamWolf for the next character I create! I just like Gundams, but any posts involving Gundams will not be made my me! I've vowed not to personally use any Gundams in L.I.C.C. (other mecha or giant monsters are another question, however! ;) )

(To save speculation, I have nothing to do with any of the Gundams currently in L.I.C.C., so don't even ask!)

By Lea Frost on Friday, December 15, 2000 - 9:17 pm:

I was indeed Bad Pun and Falstaff. I can't remember if I was Aphor or not, though.

And I've never actually posted in LICC. I just hang around. :-)

By GundamWolf, hopped up on Tylenol on Friday, December 15, 2000 - 11:37 pm:

(Sorry if I came off harsh in my last post. I had a bad headache when I posted!)

By Padawan on Saturday, December 16, 2000 - 2:45 am:

OK, here are my guesses:

Captain Proton - No idea.
Warped Writer - KAM.
Jean-Luc Picard - Lea Frost or Mark Swinton
Crochety Old Gentleman - ScottN

By ScottN on Saturday, December 16, 2000 - 10:46 am:

Padawan,

No, but I am the Crotchety Older Gentleman.

By Padawan on Saturday, December 16, 2000 - 11:07 am:

I'm pretty sure the name was Crotchety Old Gentleman on the original Phantom Returns.

Also, Greymoran and KEY clearly have the same author. And JD is controlling most of the TerrSec things.

By Padawan on Sunday, December 17, 2000 - 1:07 am:

OK, I'll explain about some of X's references...

When he first arrives he says "Your revels cease!" This is a reference to The Mikado, it is Katisha's first line once she has made her melodramatic enterance.

X says he will be a judge "and a good judge too" which is a reference to Trial by Jury, where several times the Judge says "Now I am a Judge!" and the chorus chime in "And a good judge too!"

"Soon as we may, off and away" is the title of the finale of Iolanthe.

X sends them into Port Mike to get a shrubbery. I'm sure EVERYONE here knows this but a shrubbery was what the Knights Who Say Ni sent some of the Knights of the Round Table to bring them in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Galaxy of Yarn - this is a good one. It's a reference to an episode "segment" of Animaniacs called The Big Candy Store. The main shop featured in it was called Flaxseed's Totality of Candy, and it was introduced by a pan across a street, showing the following shops in order: Burt's World of Cheese, Tammy's Galaxy of Yarn and Gary's Universe of Galvanised Drywall Screws.

X's speech to LICC about the great big universe out there is a direct lift from Q Who.

By Padawan on Monday, December 18, 2000 - 11:12 am:

Greymoran/Plot Complication is not Fuzzy Team Mascot despite the fact that both like Baldour's Gate. Interestingly enough, Thunderhead has also mentioned Baldour, so I suspect they're the same person. I used to think both of them were FTM. Ubermensch seems to be Nawdle's friend.

I have made quite a few posts on the new Phantom Returns but I'll leave you to guess who I was!

By GundamWolf, upset with Padawan on Monday, December 18, 2000 - 1:39 pm:

Padawan, not only am I defintely NOT Ubermensch, but I can't even stand the character! I'm going to post a list of the characters I AM writing (its easy to remember: they're all together):

1.Lord of the Hamburgers (NO relation to Hamburger Pattie)
2. Sgt. Milos Fortesky (I first posted as Revenant71)
3. Bigg M.A.K.K.
4. Blotzus
5. O.R., who is currently in the heal-o-matic, and I'm not saying what the `O.R.' stands for until he recovers!

That's it, so no more speculation about me, please!

(By the way, I suspect that Thunderhead and Ubermensch are either the same person or know each other; either that, or you, Padawan, are Thunderhead!)

By Padawan on Monday, December 18, 2000 - 2:08 pm:

I'm not Thunderhead, and neither is Fuzzy Team Mascot! I think Electron is Ubermensch and someone else is Thunderhead.

By Nawdle on Monday, December 18, 2000 - 2:15 pm:

And meanwhile, I'm only writing Jadlad.

By GundamWolf on Monday, December 18, 2000 - 2:50 pm:

Actually, I agree with you about Greymoran and Thunderhead probably being the same person, Padawan; I was only accusing you of being Thunderhead to get at you for accusing me of being Ubermensch (Man, I REALLY dislike that character!).

Don't know about Electron and Ubermensch being the same person, but if you are and you read this, pleeease, don't bring Ubermensch back for a while!

By GundamWolf, going crazy on Monday, December 18, 2000 - 2:55 pm:

I just wanted to mention that I'm going nuts waiting to bring LotH and his crew back, but I made a promise to Nawdle, and I'm a man of my word....

By Electron on Tuesday, December 19, 2000 - 4:12 pm:

I'm not Ubermensh.

But I was Wotan.

By Keith Alan Morgan (Kmorgan) on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 - 2:04 am:

Lord of the Hamburgers (NO relation to Hamburger Pattie)

Well, that would be unlikely since Pattie comes from the dimension of JARSO and her counterpart in the LICC dimension never gained superpowers. (Besides, I heard she's really a guy.) :-O

Yes, Padawan, I am Warped Writer, although I thought I already confessed to that.

I think I was also Aphor ("Have we met?"), but I'll have to check.

What I want to know is who is this Blazing I person who keeps posting under different names in the MST3K boards, and is he trying to break my record of most names at Nitcentral? `_´

By RICHARD on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 - 6:19 am:

Join the Poor Richard Chronicales, at the moment ther are in great danger as bURN Face is approching fast who knows? Will Poor Richard and Ranger Nestor survive? With Fuzzy Team Rocket Mascot and Bold Text on bURN Face's side they need YOUR help. Go to the Kitchen sink, the 2000 topics and then the Poor Richard Chronicals help the Team . . . . .

By Padawan Observer on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 - 12:50 pm:

Electron... are you also Furby?

KAM... I'm trying to post under the largest amount of names too! I don't intend to beat you but since you've left LICC and PR someone else needs to take your place (Or are you still on the New Menace?)

OK, nobody's had a guess yet, JD, KAM, Pesti, anyone, I've tried to uncover your characters, you have a go with me. I have/have had quite a few unconfessed characters on LICC and particularly New Menace, take a guess who I was...

I will make one confession, yes, I was TAM in all his incarnations: Total Audience Mayhem, Tamagotchi, Tam O'ShaTNer, Mr Tambourine Man and Tambo20000. I was also the jittery redshirt, as you'd have guesses. And on the lost bit of LICC, which was done after JD saved it but before Ccabe destroyed it, I was Roy and Team Starship. I've used Team Starship on New Menace as well.

TAM is a reference to a crazy "predicting randomness" idea I once had, it was the "weird cult" PD Insane mentioned. I won't tell you too much about it because a) I might use it later, b) It's too weird and I don't want you to think I believe it, c) I don't feel like it.

If anyone else with a similar name shows up on any RPG it may be me or it may be someone else. You can probably tell by the style.

So, anyone going to check out the Poor Richard Chronicles?

By Keith Alan Morgan (Kmorgan) on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 - 10:44 pm:

I have posted on New Menace. I was KAM & The Ghost Of KAM. :)

By KAM on Wednesday, December 20, 2000 - 11:42 pm:

Plot Complication must be Brian Webber.

BW loves Rita Sever & PC suggested Rita Sever on the casting board.

By About the Female Redshirt that just popped up.... on Sunday, December 24, 2000 - 1:48 am:

Regarding the Female Redshirt that just appeared in L.I.C.C.:

*****(Warning! Do not read the rest of this post if you don't want to spoil my surprise!)*****

The Female Redshirt that just showed up is my creation. I plan on having the character be a klutz who manages to get hurt only while NOT performing any duties! These injuries are only minor, the most severe being sprains and scratches.

The agreement I made with Nawdle was to not interfere with any ongoing plotlines by having Lord of the Hamburgers and his crew show up until at least two plotlines were resolved. I do not feel I am violating this agreement; the Female Redshirt is going to be a minor character, and WILL follow orders! After January 1st, I'll kill her off if anyone requests that I do so. However, as soon as the plots with Greymoran and his brother and the TerraSec plot are over, Lord of the Hamburgers will return! If anyone feels I should leave well enough alone, please say so, but do it here, not in L.I.C.C.!

Signed:

GundamWolf

P.S.: Greymoran\Brian Webber\Plot Complication, I've been playing D&D for over 15 years (I'm 29, 30 this coming April) and the Realms are my chosen setting. Just thought you should know! :)

By KAM on Sunday, December 24, 2000 - 4:07 am:

I think female redshirts have a longer life expectancy anyway. Offhand I don't remember any dead female redshirts.

Pattie occasionally wore a Uhura-style red miniskirt & I believe, the worst that happened was a console exploded & ruined her nails.

I managed to recover my list of names & should be making a big post again in a few days.

Merry Christmas! ;-)

By Padawan on Sunday, December 24, 2000 - 5:07 am:

Maybe you should do a complete list, including the ones you've already confessed to being elsewhere.

Oh, and is NO-ONE going to venture a guess as to any of my recent personae? Come on, get your revenge!

By Jake Dominguez on Sunday, December 24, 2000 - 9:19 pm:

Well, it looks like you`ve stopped using the smart apostrophes but I nominate you as the Three Ghosts.

By Padawan on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 7:48 am:

I only use those apostrophes when writing an "author name" because the other kind is screened out for some reason.

Actually, Jenny was the three ghosts, but I was Marley. You were close, though. Any more guesses?

By Padawan on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 8:02 am:

Oh, and what made you think I was the Ghosts, JD? And Happy Monday to ya.

By JD on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 10:56 am:

Just a hunch. And the Britishized word "colour".

Okay, are you the Bad Singers? Actually, it looks like Insane wrote those. :-)

By Padawan on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 11:05 am:

No, I'm not the Bad Singers. Neither is Fuzzy Team Mascot. Neither is Jenny.

By GundamWolf on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 1:55 pm:

What say we start a `Fantasy World' Rpg Board once this Greymoran storyline is wrapped up in L.I.C.C.?! (Started from scratch, not using any pre-existing fantasy world, that is)

Anyone interested in that idea? Hmmm?!

By The Observer on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 2:49 pm:

Isn't the "Poor Richard" board a start-from-scratch fantasy?

By GundamWolf, Lord of all he surverys! on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 3:32 pm:

I meant a serious, sword-n-sorcery type fantasy world (think Lord of the Rings (or Record of Lodoss War for the fellow anime-lovers out there), Observer....no silly stuff like Barney, Fuzzy Team Rocket Mascot, or...sigh...Furby!

By Padawan on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 3:45 pm:

Hey! We don't make fun of your board. Well we won't when you set it up. I enjoy "Poor Richard" and I might take part in your sword-n-sorcery RPG as well. I gotta think of a name for myself, though.

By GundamWolf on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 8:05 pm:

Good! I'd like everyone to be involved! I'd also like suggestions for what we should call the board....

(Sorry if I sounded like I was making fun of your board....it wasn't intentional....I just mean I want this sword-n-sorcery board to be strictly serious!)

By Frangelica on Monday, December 25, 2000 - 8:41 pm:

Snorts loudly. Strictly serious??? On NitCentral? Good luck, O noble questor, thoul't need it, an I am not mistaken.

How about "The Sword and the Sorcerer" or "The Eleventh Kingdom" or some other obvious spinoff?

By Jon Wade on Tuesday, December 26, 2000 - 7:45 am:

You know... this might be fun... I've got a couple of interesting character ideas...

By Anonymous on Tuesday, December 26, 2000 - 8:11 am:

Its hardness to control will be doubled since you aren't a moderator with your own board or a website owner (As far as I know.). So you won't be able to do any of the following.

Stop silly posts, bar annoying people from posting on the board or delete posts.

Lots and lots of luck! YOU'LL NEED IT!

By GundamWolf on Tuesday, December 26, 2000 - 9:38 pm:

Maybe I should rethink this..... :(

By Jenny Observer on Wednesday, December 27, 2000 - 3:02 pm:

Put it in the Kitchen sink it'll be safe in the hands of KAM.

By CKAM on Thursday, December 28, 2000 - 12:01 am:

That's what they think. Muhahahaha!

Ooops. Is this thing on?

By The Moderator on Thursday, December 28, 2000 - 12:06 am:

Should I create an RPG Section?

Also is the board for a new LICC board needed anymore?

By Anonymous on Thursday, December 28, 2000 - 3:12 am:

Uhhh.....yes, you should create an RPG Section, and LICC should probably be moved there!

By Padawan on Thursday, December 28, 2000 - 11:24 am:

KAM - the new LICC board is on the SW section.

Is Poor Richard going in the RPG section?

By Padawan on Thursday, December 28, 2000 - 11:25 am:

I'd like to take part in the new RPG. When you say "strictly serious" how serious do you mean?

By GundamWolf on Thursday, December 28, 2000 - 7:13 pm:

Uh....can be funny, but no outright silly characters! No Furby, Fuzzy Team Mascot, or Lord of the Hamburgers, or anything like that....think fantasy anime or Dungeons & Dragons! Read my Dec. 25th post!

By The Moderator on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 2:38 am:

Padawan: I meant 001112 - New LICC board, anyone? which is 3 spots above this one.

Yes, Poor Richard will go in there.

Anonymous: I can only move subjects on the boards I moderate (Kitchen Sink & Comic Books). Only Phil could move LICC from Star Wars to the Kitchen Sink.

GundamWolf: no outright silly characters! What about about Court Jesters or Village Idiots? ;-)
Also D&D can get pretty funny sometimes.
Some classmates were playing & one of their characters died & they wanted to bring him back to life. So they gave him a magic potion, then rolled the die to see what happened. Before bringing him back to life they made him 6 times faster (what's 6x faster than dead?), stronger, made him a giant, turned him into cloud, & improved his health (what's healthier than death?).

For those who are addicted to Online RPGs, you might want to check this out.
The online comic strip College Roomies From Hell!!! (http://www.crfh.net) has an RPG in its Forum called Mutant Roomies From Hell. I haven't read the RPG, so I don't know how wild or strange it gets.
However, if you're interested the rules are at http://www.keenspot.com/KeenBoard/Forum21/HTML/001213.html
I believe you do have to register to post on the Keenspot Forums.

By Keith Alan Morgan (Kmorgan) on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 4:55 am:

Well, it was 3 above, then I went & moved everything & now it's right above.

By Jon Wade, with an interesting idea on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 7:09 am:

I have an interesting character in mind, and whether it can be used or not.. Well, I'll just mention the idea here...
A former troll professional wrestler. Calls himself "The Hard Place." Wrestled until the Extreme Dungeon Wrestling league collapsed. Pretty well known. He partnered with The Rock at one point...

By Padawan on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 11:07 am:

Only if The Rock is another troll. The rules, I would say, are this:

No Star Wars memorabilia, no 20th century icons, no Pokemon, no Darth Armus, no Pokemon, no futuristic technology, no Pokemon, no Star Trek stuff, no Pokemon, no aliens, no Pokemon, no starships, and NO POKEMON! Did I miss anything?

By Padawan on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 11:54 am:

OK, I don't think the "New LICC board, anyone?" is needed anymore.

Also, I think that the first board of this new sword-and-sworcery RPG might have some undesirable elements, which are shaken off as it gets going. Like with Port Mike. And what's it going to be called? And when will it be set up?

By Jon Wade on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 2:28 pm:

Gee... I wonder if no Pokemon are allowed...
I guess this Rock is another Troll... They'd do do the old "between a Rock and The Hard Place" routine...

By Padawan on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 3:00 pm:

No Pokemon but a group of trolls called Team Rockhead might show up. You never know. Silly names are allowed if the characters themselves came up with them, right?

Any ideas for names for this new RPG? Sword-and-sworcery? Brave tales of heroic times? Any more suggestions?

By Padawan on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 3:03 pm:

When I say characters I don't mean authors, I mean it's like a corporate name, of course, there are no corporates in sword-and-sworcery. And no TVs! But I guess crystal-gazing, mysterious wizards and other "stock" fantasy elements are allowed.

By GundamWolf on Saturday, December 30, 2000 - 12:03 am:

Regarding Padawan's 1:07 pm post; Dang straight!

(I know this program edits out stong language (usually; look at a few of Webber's L.I.C.C. posts! He used the `F'ed word in one, and it got posted!) Anyway, just pretend I said the word that rhymes with ham!)

Any Team Rockets or Furbys show up, I've got a Vorpal Sword with their name on it. ;) (For those of you without D&D knowledge, on a high attack roll, a Vorpal Sword automatically decapitates your opponent!)

By GundamWolf, Dark Jedi on Saturday, December 30, 2000 - 12:43 am:

Uh...BTW, Padawan, you turning into Elmer Fudd? Re-read your most recent post! (Kill the Wabbit! Kill the Wabbit!)

John Wade, just make the Troll a gladiator, a pit-fighter, or a REAL wrestler; Greco-Roman wrestling should be allowed (and will be, if I have anything to say about it).

(BTW, does anyone here play Jedi Knight? I just got it for Christmas, and was wondering if I might run into any of you in the MSN Gaming Zone. It's nice to kill (and get killed by) friends every once in a while! ;)

By Padawan on Saturday, December 30, 2000 - 4:15 am:

You mean with me saying "sword and sworcery"? I've done that lots of times! But with Elmer it would be pronounced "sawed and sawcewy".

By Padawan on Saturday, December 30, 2000 - 5:54 am:

And, Jon Wade, TRY to get into the right context with this. You were notorious for doign the wrong thing early in Port Mike. Don't post unless you KNOW it's within the confines of what's allowed.

Of course, I understand Board 1 might have a few problems and some complaints, but remember that that happens early on, and it will go away if the rules are enforced enough.

By Furby on Saturday, December 30, 2000 - 11:12 am:

Be careful, GundamWolf! Like the dvarves we like to cut the knees of our opponents with quite large axes!

By Padawan on Saturday, December 30, 2000 - 2:35 pm:

All those who want to join Poor Richard - go to the first board if you're curious - we answer questions and have auditions there.

By GundamWolf, just call me Wolf! on Saturday, December 30, 2000 - 3:35 pm:

If we DO start a fantasy RPG board, I plan to be involved, but only as an advisor and author. I've got a character I'm just itching to unleash; a Ranger who hunts the Undead. I also plan on running the tavern where the heroes hang out, but I want someone else to run the serving wenches and the entertainment....preferably Padawan, KAM, or Nawdle. I'll probably ask Nawdle, because I'm actually in contact with him! (E-Mail and real-life)

By BladeWolf on Sunday, December 31, 2000 - 11:18 pm:

Okay, PD Insane asked me if I knew he was in the L.I.C.C. board. I'm assuming he meant which one of the two infidels...er...new characters he was running.....I don't even remember who PD Insane really is, or if they've even come forward. Keeping track of who's who is a real headache. We need a new, updated list at the Archives. Of course, there could be one; I haven't been to the Archives in about two weeks...I'll look after I'm done here.

My guess is....The Knight guy, Sir What's his face...I think I know who Keeran is, but I could be wrong...and probably am! (KAM, is it you? Or is it Jake?)

Uh...one question; when I decide to come forward, who and where do I send my real name to when its time to put the chapters I've been in into the Archives?

Iron Chef's on....gotta go! Allez Cuisine!

By The Observer on Sunday, December 31, 2000 - 11:37 pm:

Just post your name here, or if you're shy, send it to Jake's address. He handles sending new pages to Kira's site.

I finished a brand new revised version of the Com with attached Character and Villain lists about 2 weeks ago. Of course, neither includes the latest adventures on LICC. It's on Kira's site right now.

By GundamWolf, BladeWolf, whatever I feel like calling myself at the time on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 2:38 am:

Uh...about my earlier post, I forgot...Padawan/Loremaster is PD Insane! That's what he was hinting at on the L.I.C.C. board! (smacks self rapidly at least a dozen times)

I don't know who's running the other character, the one I accused PD Insane of being, but I stand by my two guesses for Kerran; KAM or Jake.

By KAM on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 5:15 am:

Nope, I'm not Keeran. I haven't posted on any story boards since LICC XXX in October.

By Padawan on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 9:31 am:

I think Jake is Keeran.

By The Observer on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 10:19 am:

Silly Padawan!

All right, I was going to stay low for a while, but...I am Keeran the Stranger. Padawan, you didn't notice that the description very closely matched Observer's medieval outfit? Except for the dragon armor, of course. That would be a bit much.

And I used the name of my old Jedi Master for the character name.

By Padawan on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 11:09 am:

You'd have been my second guess, The Observer. I noticed the ( ) for actions, which you use and which JD used to use in the early days of LICC.

By Jake Dominguez on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 11:44 am:

That was before I started to use Italics. I like how they look for plot contrivances.

By Padawan on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 3:43 pm:

KAM - Are you by any chance Millennium Boy? I'm sure you're T.M. Maple and Friday, are you also the ad for PatizGirlz?

Any more guesses on who I have been on New Menace?

By Lea Frost on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 6:45 pm:

I'm guessing you were Jacob Marley... :-)

By GundamWolf/BladeWolf....but you can call me Slim! on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 7:01 pm:

By the way, about my...interest in Iron Chef, I'm not the person who made one post as Iron Chef of Queynos, and I no its not Nawdle, either. Whoever it was, I hope you're an Iron Chef fan, and didn't just do it because you liked the name. (My favorite's Morimoto, btw)

By GundamWolf....my enemies call me....Waldo! on Monday, January 01, 2001 - 7:15 pm:

Regarding coming forward, I'm considering doing it and posting it here. However, I'll only do it if the admin agrees to erase it after Jake and/or Kira have seen it!

By Keith Alan Morgan (Kmorgan) on Tuesday, January 02, 2001 - 4:00 am:

Wolf, if you only want Jake and/or Kira to see it, why not just email them?

Padawan, (the sound of a page ripping from a calendar) Yes! I am Millennium Boy! Scourge of all those who think of 2000 as the Millennium! Muhahahahahahaha!

And I was the ad as well. (Hey it was board triple X. I had to do something.;-)

I got the name T.M. Maple from T.M. Maple (huh?) a.k.a. The Mad Maple, a famous comic book letter writer. Friday comes from Dragnet.

By GundamWolf....my friends call me....George! on Tuesday, January 02, 2001 - 6:54 am:

I knew 2000 wasn't the Millennium! :)

Uh...I forget, where are Kira and Jake's E-mail addresses posted?!

By JD on Tuesday, January 02, 2001 - 11:00 am:

Here.

jakenet_2000@yahoo.com
kira_sharp@yahoo.com

By Padawan on Tuesday, January 02, 2001 - 12:32 pm:

Lea, I already confessed to being Marley.

KAM, I would assume you were the Frank Answer Men, and on the Epic History of Nitworld (Which I hope Pesti will return to) Undomiel and/or GrayWizard.

By Padawan on Tuesday, January 02, 2001 - 12:53 pm:

And KAM, you aren't fooling anyone when you say you didn't intend the BLA to be Suzy Wood. Look at her e-mail address!

By Lea Frost on Tuesday, January 02, 2001 - 2:47 pm:

Oops. I missed that one. :-p

By KAM on Tuesday, January 02, 2001 - 11:43 pm:

I've never posted on the Epic History of Nitworld.

I believe I was the Frank Answer Men. (It's so hard to remember though, because of that d*mn conspiracy.;-)

I never said I didn't intend for BLA to be Suzy Wood. I said she was never identified as S Wood in Mr. Obvious' post. She was simply referred to as a beautiful lab assistant then.
(I did consider making her the new Hamburger Pattie, but thought bringing Soyburger Patricia back would make an interesting change.)

By KAM on Wednesday, January 03, 2001 - 11:24 pm:

Checked my records. Yes I was Aphor, & the Frank Answer Men. On New Menace I was also the letters I & O. (And I believe I also sponsored an ep of Sesame Street as them as well.;-)

Also did I ever have Mr.s Obvious & Absurd admit that the Frank Answer Men were right about their names being Frank Lee?
If the Frank Answer Men just popped up & said The Observer was really Frank Jones would everybody just accept that?

I was also Mr. Abusurd. (Who was sent back to his correct place in history off-screen.)
Imagine that Bob Brehm telling me I was wrong about when & where Mr. Absurd was in the cross-time storyline.

By Bob Brehm on Thursday, January 04, 2001 - 4:09 pm:

KAM, refresh my memory, on what date did I do this?

By KAM on Friday, January 05, 2001 - 4:37 am:

On LICC XIII
By Bob The Q on Friday, March 31, 2000 - 04:13 pm:

That's exactly why I'm here. {snaps fingers and instantly Mr Abusurd and Mr Obvious appear on the Bridge, both decked out as 1960s hippies snaps fingers again and instantly they are back in their own universe) Now that was quick and painless.

By Mr. Abusurd, not to be confused with Mr. Absurd on Saturday, April 1, 2000 - 01:40 am:

Whoa dude! What happened? Wild trip. Kinda like Star Trek.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Captain Tacoman on Saturday, April 1, 2000 - 07:59 am:

QBob, you fool! you seemed to have brought an ancestor of Mr. Absurd here! Frangelica, we may not have changed our own history. Remember that Quantum man said that we were in a slightly different dimension, meaning that we might have changed that dimension's history and not ours...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Bob The Q on Saturday, April 1, 2000 - 05:21 pm:

Actually that is Mr Absurd, he must have gotten rid his uniform to fit in with the times. You did nothing to change the history of that other dimension. That other dimension's evolutionary path branched of a milenia ago and had always been that way. However I will keep an eye on it just to be on the safe side. Also I would like to say that it is good to see you all again and you have all done very well since I last saw you. Be on your toes there are tough times ahead but I am confident you will be able to handle it {disappears ina flash of light)

By Nit, the Picky, Picky Pixie on Saturday, April 1, 2000 - 11:59 pm:

If Bob the Q had bothered reading the previous posts, he would have known that Mr. Absurd was in Seattle in the year 2000, not San Francisco 1968.

I was Absurd, Abusurd & Nit.

By Kira Sharp on Friday, January 05, 2001 - 9:38 am:

Undomiel??? KAM??? I quote, "I may have the brains of a caterpillar and the ambition of a pebble, but I am the most attractive thing any mortal or immortal will ever set eyes on. Watch me prance and skip!"

Now whom do we know whose snippily political sense of humor was responsible for that? (Hint: this person obviously reads Tolkein and has less than no respect for lazy gold-digging trollop Princess Arwen.)

By Kira Sharp again on Friday, January 05, 2001 - 9:47 am:

THE LICC SITE HAS MOVED!

http://www.geocities.com/TheLICC

By ScottN on Friday, January 05, 2001 - 2:38 pm:

I admit it, I'm most of the evil K-NIT TV-47 executives.

Kira, can you add that to the LICC board?

By BladeWolf.....Jumpin Jack Flash in disguise! on Friday, January 05, 2001 - 10:21 pm:

Anyone checked out the Fantasy RPG board?! It's currently called....*sigh*....Novaquest...*barf* but that name is soon to change!
C'mon down, you the next contestant on Pr...er...c'mon down and join the fun! :)
