There. Now all non story related material has a nice place of it's own.

Anyway, I've come to a decision when it comes to the story.

Chapter 16 will be the last chapter of this story. I know, you'd probably want the story to go on forever like the LICC (yeah, right), but really, how long can a guy like Jake Grey get away with what he does without getting some kind of justice. What I have not decided yet is how, but we'll burn that bridge when we cross it.

But don't worry. It won't be the end of the Archangel and her crew. No sir.

The next story is a 12 parter, called "Rebuild" in which those who survive "The Hunt For Jake Grey" recruit people from around the multiverse to restore the XDCA. Of course it will feature occasional pirate battles, an old LICC enemy seeking revenge against Tacoman by killing his father (Greymoran), and dimensional anamolies in the classic Star Trek style of stupidity. Following that will be "Mirror Dance" in which a new universe is discovered. A universe run by the XDCA's 'evil twin.' Here are some titles I've picked out that I like for possible future chapters of the Adventures of the Archangel. I don't have any story ideas for most of them yet. I just think they sound cool;

First, the ones I DO have story ideas for;

Moving Mars (Hope to reunite Keith Yeager and Jackson Dupree with the characters from Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy, as old frineds of Jake Grey decide to mess with the Red Mars universe).
Vectors (This one I intend to follow Moving Mars. The aforementioned friends of Jake Grey plot their revenge).
Warlords (Through a naturally occuring dimensional anomoly, The Drakh from B5 find themselves in Alliance with the Sssi-Ruuk from Star Wars, who promptly launch an assault on Earth, Minbar, and B5 herself).

I actually plan to have Warlords be the last chapter in the Archnagel's story, but that will be left up to my new friend Jon Wade.

I might like to join sometime... I made a post early on as "Cutthroat Jimlad" and my decision was basically - if anyone followed it up I would stay. No-one did, but I may be bck, as Cutthroat Jimlad or someone else. Cutthroat Jimlad is a dimensional counterpart of my LICC character - PD Insane. I might also get the Red Guy to join in, he likes Baldur's Gate.

Padawan: I'm afraid that Archangel is not as silly as LICC. If you read over all the posts here you find drama is the primary component. If you want to play a character, it should be a serious character, who grows and evolves as the story plays out, like a character in a good novel. Beisdes. We already have our comic relief. Carrie.

Oh. Well, I'll see what I can do, but I'm not as gothic as you are.

Just had a great idea for "The Sum of It's Parts"!

A flashback chaper, where we basically see what the crew members did before they joined the Archangel crew! If Josh has read the Casting section he'll have a good idea what to do. And knowing a little more about Ahz would be interesting. I also have a little story about Greymoran's early days, when he, Radagast, and jake Grey were the cream of the XDCA crop, before the latter two became evil.

OK, we clearly decided NOT to go down that path with Chapter V.

But I'd still like to see bits and pieces of Ahz's past revealed throughout the upcoming chapters.

We're not talking about the flashback thing anymore? I was going to do a flashback for Hudzen, even though he's an android and probably doesn't flash back too often.

Josh: Well, everything before the XDCA picked him up we know from the Red Dwarf epsiode The Last Day. We know that after Grey began killing people Hudzen led an unsuccesful mutiny to save lives. But how much time passed between being picked up from RD, and becoming Grey's chief of security? And what happened between becoming chief of secutirty, and leading the mutiny? Since Hudzen is your character now, why don't you fill in the blanks?

The Archangel Website has been updated. It includes a corrected version of Chapter IV (red dots replaced with the intended profanities, plus a few spelling erorr fixed, though only the ones that stood out, so as not to remove it's humanity).

I've got an idea for a character...

A drunken, Irish vampire named Cassidy, who...waitaminute...that's in Preacher!!

How about a coldblooded, cyber-assassin who used to work for Jakr Grey, but had a change of heart? I'm thinking of a guy with cyber-enhanced speed and strength, trained in the martial arts, with cybernetic kama blades that slide out of his mechanical arms (looks like he's holding them, but they're really attached)?

Josh: You still there? Cause I'd like Hudzen to actually DO something before this chapter is over. I've dropepd several hints thorughout this entire current chapter, and through the last few of Sum of Its Parts about what that something MIGHT be, but it's all on you to figure it out.

Jon: I'm changing the plot for Chapter 7, and if Josh doesn't come back, I'll either take over Hudzen for myself, or I'll simply change the plot for that chapter too.
