Over at LICC we have a topic for casting an LICC movie. I figure why not have on here too, just for the fun of it? Here's my ideas. We can bicker about them later. Some of my chocies are obivous.

Greymoran: Chris Sarandon (wearing the ebard he wore on his ER stint).
Jake Grey: William Forsythe
TorGal: CGI, voiced by Trey Parker
Carrie: Elizabeth Hurley
Jackson Dupree: Arnold Vosoloo(sp?) from The Mummy
Keith Yeager: Christopher Titus
Rita Yeager: Meredith Vieira
Hudzen: The guy who played the Hudzen robot in the Red Dwarf episode 'The Last Day.'
Ahz: Nicolas Lea (Krycek from The X-Files) or Jon Seda (of Homicide and UC: Undercover)
Sorik: James Marsden (From the X-Men movie)

Coorection. I meant to say Odet Feyr(sp?) from the Mummy (and also from UC: Undercover) to play Dupree.

I screwed it again. It's ODED Fehr! Not the w2ay I spelled it above.

Gordon Kennedy was name of the person who played Hudzen in The Last Day.

And while we're at it, why not cast all the actors from the movies and tv series in the roles of their characters when they appeared in Archangel?

I have not seen the X-Men movie so I don't know about James Marsden... however, after seeing Hugo Weaving as Elrond in the Lord of the Rings film that's exactly who I see as Sorik!

By Brian Webber on Monday, January 28, 2002 - 10:28 pm:

Oooh, Hugo Weaving is an EXCELLENT choice. I picked Marsden cause he showed little emotion as Cyclops in X-Men (a little dig I suppose).

And if The head of Caser was the basis for the film I can see the guy who plays Kareem Said on Oz as Senator Mkasi.

By Brian Webber, throughly impressed on Saturday, July 06, 2002 - 02:07 am:

Wow. Just, wow. Although the close-ups on Kiehart were unneccesary, plus he didn't get enough quick quips. No smart-alecky references? C'mon Paddy I thought you knew him better than that! ;-)

But for a real challange, why not take on Archangel? I actually had a dream that that was made into a movie, but I didn';t know how it was doen and couldn't gewt into the theratre showing it to find out exactly who made it beucase people kept hording me telling me it was a thousand times better than Episode II, and yet not only did I not know that the movie even existed, I had no idea how it could've been pulled off without serious litigation. In the dream I tried to get a look at the poster to get some clue but all I could see was the title, and some space-like background coloring. And for some reason I ran into Guy Pearce's character from Memento. It was a VERY weird dream. *snicker*

I figured that post belonged here.

Anyway, here's a revised cast list.

Greymoran: Chris Sarandon
Jake Grey: William Forsythe or whoever they cast to play Reed Richards in the forthcomign Fanatasic Four movie
TorGal: CGI, voiced by Jim Carrey doing his The Grinch style snarling, only louder and with more venom.
Carrie: Elizabeth Hurley
Jackson Dupree: Oded Fehr from The Mummy
Keith Yeager: Christopher Titus
Rita Yeager: Meredith Vieira
Hudzen: The guy who played the Hudzen robot in the Red Dwarf episode 'The Last Day.'
Ahz: Henry Winters (Oz)
Sorik: Hugo Weaving (Lord of the Rings, The Matrix)
Senator Mkasi: Aamon(sp?) Walker (Oz)
Captain Redding: Kyle Secor (Homicide)
Martin Durgin: Tylaer Mane (Sabretooth in the X-Men movie)
Derisa Alex: Zhang Ziyi (Rush Hour 2, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon)
Haer'Dalis: No f-ing clue
Mac: Clay-mation chicken from Chick Run. :)
Revanche's EMH: Andy Dick
Other Revanche Crew Members I can't remember: Extras casting.

How's that, he says with a wink and a nod.

From the picture you had of Grey on the site, I've always pictured Anthony Stewart Head as Grey.

I pictured Djimon Hounsou (Juba from Gladiator) as Mkasi.

Someone in Weequay makeup (from Return of the Jedi) as Haer'Dalis.
