From LICC The Soudntrack:

By Brian Webber on Saturday, October 20, 2001 - 05:28 pm:

OK, I went ahead and pieced together a CD soundtrack for the LICC using some of your suggestions. As soon as I can, I'll burn some more copies (I used my last disc for the copy I have) for anyone who wants one. I'll only charge shipping and handling, which, since I'll be using the thincase CD holders, won't be much. $2 tops.

Here is the CD.

1: Introduction
2: Space Team Electra - Shadow
3: Man... or Astroman? - Taco Wagon
4: Crazy Town - Butterfly (Hard Rock Mix)
5: Sleater Kinney - Milkshake 'n' Honey
6: Stroke 9 - Kick Some Ass
7: The Cardigans - Iron Man
8: Pat Benetar - Invincible
9: Run-D.M.C. - Tougher Than Leather
10: Michael Hutchence - The Passenger
11: Fury in the Slaughterhouse - Dancing in the Sunshine of the Dark
12: Lo Fidelity All Stars - Battle Flag
13: P/ussy 2000 - It's Gonna be Alright
14: Korn - Make Me Bad
15: Bloodhound Gang - Jackass
16: Anthrax - I Am The Law
17: Soul Coughing - The Bug
18: Green Day - Brain Stew (Godzilla Mix)

More good news! Not only did JD do a lyric search on the Internet to clear these songs for public consumption, you can now choose the color of the case your original LICC soundtrack comes in!

Here's the vitals on that little goodie;

Orange Cases: 7
Purple Cases: 7
Blue Cases: 7
Green Cases: 7
Pink Cases: 6
Black Cases (I may not have these too long if my family decides they want 'em so if this is what you want order quick!): 3

Just e-mail me your snail mail address. Once you receive your USPS package containing your copy (or copies) of the CD, and only once you've received it, you can write me a check for the amount on the front of the package (USPS puts how much it cost to send the package at least out here) plus an additional $0.75 for the cost of the disc and the time spent burning it.

Too much you say? Why would you say that? I only make a 75 cent profit off what I could easily charge a whole dollar or more for!

As gfor the P/ussy 200 track, worry not. Although the band's name has a sexual connotation the song is not sex related in any way whatsoever. In fact the song has more in common with songs like Get Up Stand Up than with '97 Bonnie & Clyde.

By The Observer on Tuesday, December 04, 2001 - 8:57 am:

I am assuming that the "introduction" track is the LICC's theme song, Queen's We Are The Champions, correct?

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, December 04, 2001 - 4:14 pm:

No, the introduction track is award deserving actor Jason Lee (Chasing Amy, Almost Famous) saying, "And on that note, we cue the music."

By JD on Wednesday, December 05, 2001 - 9:05 am:

AAH! No "We Are The Champions", after I just wrote the title sequence around it! Serious problem here! AAH!

By A Thoughtful Nitpicker on Wednesday, December 05, 2001 - 9:34 am:

Would that be a Continuity Error or a Changed Premise?

By Padawan Observer on Wednesday, December 05, 2001 - 11:07 am:

Maybe Jason Lee says that line on a black screen, and then We Are The Champions follows?

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, December 05, 2001 - 1:04 pm:

Look I made the disc when LICC2 was still going! BEFORE anyone suggested We Are The Champions, OK? Besides, I think, while a classic, is overused. I don't want to see it become a loathed song like Candyman or Ob-Li-De Ob-La-Da.

By Kira Sharp on Wednesday, December 05, 2001 - 2:20 pm:

Besides, it's not a nit. It's an insidious marketing ploy of a wicked K-NIT executive who is planning to relase a "LICC Soundtrack-- Special Edition" in about a year and make everyone buy another copy.

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, December 05, 2001 - 2:23 pm:

kira, would you like me to send two copies to you? One for you, one for the hubbie?

By K-NIT on Thursday, December 06, 2001 - 3:10 pm:

Worry not Ms. Sharp, we will not be releasing a Special Edition 2-Disc set featuring bits of dialouge form the hit series LICC.

Until the 10th anniversary.

By Overacting Brian Webber on Saturday, December 08, 2001 - 3:07 pm:

Well? No orders? This bites. You know how much time I spent pulling all those songs together, then arranging them into a decent order? Then the hard drive was jittery so it took almost an hour just to burn my copy of the soundtrack? *sob* My blood, sweat, and tears are in this project and nobody wants a copy! *crawls into a corner to cry*

By Anonymous on Saturday, December 08, 2001 - 7:03 pm:

No offense, BW, but I don't ask for anything sent to me by someone I only know over the 'net. It's pure safety, nothing personal.

By Brian Webber on Saturday, December 15, 2001 - 12:28 pm:

Anon: What, you're afraid I'm gonna send you some Anthrax or something? Me? The guy who spends ALL his free time with a bunch of nitpicking nerds? Where would I find the ••••••• time to MAKE anthrax?!? C'mon, I've sent stuff to people I've met on-line, and I've had stuff sent to me, including but not limited to a homemade chart for Crossovers (see the old Kitchen Sink topic of Crossovers), CDs, and an Amish quilt. I am very trustworthy. My dear friend many sent me her addy and phone # for use as a reference while I was job hunting. She made me rpomise not to call her number. 3 years later my promise is still being kept!

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, December 18, 2001 - 1:34 pm:

I'm going to take a serious risk guys. Tonight, unless one of you talks me out of it, I'm going to make a geture of how much I trust YOU by posting my home address right here on this very board.

I really want to give you these soundtrack disks, and if my financial situation wasn't so tight I wouldn't be charging you anything at all, I'd let have them for free. But I can't afford that. That's why the price of the discs is S&H + $0.75 cents! At most that means the checks'll be for $3.80 (maybe more for Paddy and Reddo cause they live out of the U.S.).

By Josh M on Tuesday, December 18, 2001 - 1:54 pm:

If I thought that people were going to send me anthrax through the mail, I wouldn't get stuff off of EBay anymore.

By Anonymous on Tuesday, December 18, 2001 - 5:53 pm:

People its not anthrax. Its common net sense. You don't send people you don't know your personal information. There are spammers and stalkers out there and you just don't send other people your personal information. It's not about Webber or anyone else. It's just common sense. And Josh M, I don't shop on EBay either and I bet neither does that other Anonymous.

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, December 18, 2001 - 10:35 pm:

<< Webber, I know you're really anxious for people to trust you enough to buy the CD, but this is really dangerous. This is a PUBLIC DISCUSSION BOARD. I'd strongly advise against putting your address back up. Why don't you just email it to people who are interested? >> -JD

There. I did it.

By Padawan Observer on Wednesday, December 19, 2001 - 11:16 am:

When did JD say that?

By JD (Jdominguez) on Wednesday, December 19, 2001 - 1:06 pm:

He's not quoting me. He posted his HOME ADRESS in that post, so I removed it. Too dangerous.

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, December 19, 2001 - 2:14 pm:

What bothers me is how so many of you are getting pyssed off over one lousy song. And by lousy I don't mean bad. I mena lousy as in the song is EVERYWHERE! Go to your local Virgin megastore sometime. I'll bet you can find at least 10 CDs with that song on it.

Tops you may find 3 with with Tougher Than Leather on it. You see where I'm goign with this? I hate that you epopel think all my hard work useless just because I don't like the idea of turning a classic rock song into a "Get That F-ing Song Out of My head!" song like The Candyman by Sammy Davis JR. or Life Goes On by The Beatles. As a music lover I see what I've done as nothing less than noble.

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, January 09, 2002 - 2:31 pm:

The Black Cases Are Gone!

Sorry guys, but the 3 Black CD cases are spoken for.

But the other colors are all still available.

Please E-mail Your Order to webber_brian@hotmail.com

By Padawan Observer on Wednesday, January 09, 2002 - 2:37 pm:

Have you sent any to anyone yet? Not that I want one, but I'm interested to know.

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, January 09, 2002 - 3:17 pm:

Actually no. :-( The family took the Black cases like I said they might. Well, once I get a job, maybe I can send them without charging you guys. I'm sure once they're free you'll be all ove rthem. Cheap bastards can't give up 3 bucks. I spend more than that on lunch!

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 - 2:37 pm:

Although I can't get anymore Black cases, the other colors are still available.

Orange Cases: 7
Purple Cases: 7
Blue Cases: 7
Green Cases: 7
Pink Cases: 6

Order yours now, before it's too late! Remember, the cost is a measly $0.75 + S&H.

Seriously guys. I REALLY need the meager pitence I'll get from selling these. None of the hundreds of places I've applied to are even calling me back let alone hiring me. I may NEVER get a job! I've been trying since late August, and have had a grand totla of three interviews. I can't even get hired as a janitor at a movie theatre for god's sake. I may wind up a Roger & Me style statistic, unable to afford even a can of soda pop, or a lousy Nutri-Grain bar!

By Brian Webber on Friday, January 18, 2002 - 4:59 pm:

Yes! At long last! Someone has ordered a copy fo the LICC Soundtrack.

The new number of cases available is as follows.

Orange Cases: 7
Purple Cases: 7
Blue Cases: 6
Green Cases: 7
Pink Cases: 6

A blue case is gone. Only 6 remain.

Please place your order ASAP if you wish to receive yours.

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, January 22, 2002 - 2:17 pm:

Good news person-who-ordered-a-disc (I leave it to you to decide wether or not you want to tell anyone). I sent it out today. It should be there in about a week.

By RIAA on Tuesday, January 22, 2002 - 3:44 pm:

HAHAHA! Our lawyers will be there in about a week too! HAHAHA!

By Brian Webber on Monday, February 11, 2002 - 10:12 am:

Um, speaking of about aweek, I know due to a recent news story that the mail in Colorado is at the slowest it's been in ten years (thanks to some dumb •••• moron with a bottle of white pudding powder and too much free time in Limon, CO), but I would think that I would've received my check for the CD by now. Of course, that's assuming it was sent the day after the CD arrived, whcih is my most optimistic guess.

By Guy Who Bought the Disk; Like You Dont Already Know on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 - 2:34 pm:

Yeah, I know I said I would mail it the day after but...

well, it took me a little longer to mail it off than I thought.

It ended up not getting mailed until February 10.

sorry

Snow drifts kept you from getting to the post office? I understnad. It snows here too sometimes.

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, February 20, 2002 - 3:27 pm:

In case anyone was curious, here are the lyrics to Shadow by Space Team Electra (available at http://www.spaceteamelectra.com)

-

Shadow

i am what i say i am- am i spitting in the wind? are you what you say you are? you are like a falling star- a falling star

every little lie you tell decorates the gates of hell- every truth you understand becomes a sword in angel's hands-

i don't want you to tell my story- i don't want you to dim my glory- i don't need you to own it for me- THIS ONE IS MINE- what you see is the measure of you- you're looking at a picture of me you drew- cinematic magic venue in yr mind- SHADOW SHADOW here i go so far away- out of your sight- i wanna be just like the snow and melt away in the sunlight-

i am gruesome- i am pure- i am too much to endure- i am flying without strings- i'm too much of everything-

i am not afraid of shadows fear is the dust of broken arrows- my desires are the wings of crows against a white sky- wasn't put on this earth to please you- run away if i fu*king scare you- i don't bow to the gods you bow to i'd rather die

SHADOW SHADOW here i go so far away- out of your sight- i wanna be just like the snow and melt away in the sunlight-

wrapped in the web of skin and bone golden lotus flowers blooming in my veins
particles of light exploding spiralling my mind away at lightening speed

-

Beign the only two people here who've ehard that song Josh and I can attest to how that text does the song little justice.

New Count.

Orange Cases: 7
Purple Cases: 7
Blue Cases: 6
Green Cases: 6
Pink Cases: 5

I used 1 Pink case to burn a copy of the new Natalie Merchant CD, and I am using 1 Green case to make a new Mix CD. I at first considered not doing this, but I realzie that not that many people are even AT LICC, let alone wnat a disc. Tops I figure I'll only have to make 6 or 7.

New Count.

Orange Cases: 7

I used 2 Purple cases to brun copies of CDs I can't afford becuase thanks to bounced checks and increased rent I am now down to less than 45 dollars in my bank account. System of a Down's Toxicity and Stone Temple Pilot's Core.
