I click on the link, it contacts the host, I wait for quite a few minutes and then it says I've been rejected. (Not accepting connections or busy being the usual excuses.)

I would guess it probably has a problem with either my browser or my computer or a combination of the two.

Not really, I just wanted to discuss the art of creating storylines, and also say that I thought it was very funny the short scene with Pattie and Enesku. And ROTFL at your latest post on KNIT!

Yep. I was Qunicy. Mainly I just wanted to make fun of Webber's typos, than after posting thought of the complaint of killing off redshirts as if they didn't have backstories, then I realized that I could write an earlier version of Qunicy since the story was set in the past.

I did consider having the Doctor turn into Miracle Max from The Princess Bride and say that Qunicy was just "Mostly Dead", but decided against it.

Seemed more poignant to leave him dead. (Kind of like Noah Body.)

And if we had Felines it would be a Kitty-Chat room

Yep. I was intending to create a redshirt-based storyline, but decided not to, because those usually go wrong. I liked Qunicy, though.

Reddo, when the bravenet chat continues to have those login problems you could have a look at some other free chatrooms for your site like ParaChat.

No, now he uses ParaChat, you can get in by going to the address supplied above for After Intro, and scrolling down on the left until you reach the Reddochat II link.

A simple direct link, without having to replace a dot with a slash, or remove an l would have been nice.

It's because both ReddoChat and LICCChat use the CentralChat Java client, and CentralChat.net let their domain name registration lapse. The java client tries to connect to something at CentralChat.net, and it fails DNS lookup.

Do a WHOIS lookup for CentralChat.net and you'll see that it lapsed today.

OK, it lapsed last week.
