Talk amongst yourselves. About what?? All the non-LICC, non-Arch stories, of course!

By The Coffee Talk Lady on Thursday, January 03, 2002 - 5:00 pm:

Yes, talk amongst yourselves. I'm verklempt.

By Padawan Observer on Monday, January 07, 2002 - 11:57 am:

Hey... don't we have enough RPGs already? And aren't they supposed to be on `Adventurer's Row' at the Kitchen Sink?

By JD (Jdominguez) on Monday, January 07, 2002 - 12:18 pm:

Nope. And not necessarily.

By Worried Poster on Tuesday, January 08, 2002 - 1:37 am:

Oh, no! It's going to be an RPG war between KAM & JD! Run! Run for your lives! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! *Dives out through coffeeshop's front window*

By Padawan Observer on Thursday, March 14, 2002 - 2:28 pm:

Hey people!

In a short while there will be a new RPG in this section. Here is some information:

Title: Unfrozen Caveman Detective
Background: In the recent past a caveman has been found encased in ice and revived. He has been alive and preserved for thousands of years, only in a coma. Now he lives in America, in the city of Port Mike, where he is a detective (sort of) working with the Port Mike Police Department and assigned to maverick semi-freelance detective MacBain. Meanwhile, in some country which we're not allowed to identify (due to cultural sensitivities) two villians named Sourcabbage and Hotdog (who are never referred to as being of ANY specific natioanlity) are bent on taking over the world, but have been stopped many times by MacBain and UCD. Now they have made the two heroes their mortal enemies.

The parts of MacBain, UCD and Sourcabbage have already been cast (that is, three people have decided to write them). The other two parts who need to be taken are:

GENERAL
Head of the Port Mike Police Department. He is easily angered and, while he has great faith in UCD's fighting skills, he absolutely hates MacBain's cavalier attitude towards everything, and is always ready to show it. He often yells "MAC-BAAAAAIN!" in Colonel Klink/Sergeant Carter style.

HOTDOG
Sourcabbage's devious assistant. He acts as an adviser to the somewhat unintelligent Sourcabbage, and is quick to find flaws in Sourcabbage's plans, although he never tries to take charge or even get angry with Sourcabbage, and has to be slick and oily at all times. He usually suggests people (spies, sceientists, etc) to work for Sourcabbage in whatever department is required.

Authors are needed to play these parts, if anyone wants to play either of them, they must say here (note: If you want to keep secret who you are, just post as Anonymous or something and say "I would like to play the part of [whichever]." I will supply more information on either character if needed.

Other parts, such as police officers, extra villains, short-lived love interests for MacBain and other rabble may intro their characters at will, and do not need to announce it here.

The rules of usual NitCentral RPGs are the same here, however, superheroes, space travel and magic (including the Force) are not permitted. Any other kind of technology is allowed as long as it is not too much of a deus ex machina SuperDuperPowerful Device.

It will commence when the two roles mention above have been filled.

Just remember, I'm still the Mayor of Port Mike!

By Padawan Observer on Thursday, March 14, 2002 - 2:56 pm:

This is a different Port Mike. However, if you want to post sometimes as the mayor of this Port Mike, you can.

By ScottN on Thursday, March 14, 2002 - 4:40 pm:

Just so long as I don't have to sing like Michigan J. Frog... Last time, I was hypnotized to do that...

Oh no, not again!

Hello my baby,
Hello, my darling,
Hello, my ragtime gal...

By KAM, I didn´t do it, nobody saw me do it, you can´t prove a thing on Friday, March 15, 2002 - 3:52 am:

ScottN, weren't you killed as mayor? (Or did you get better?)

By ScottN on Friday, March 15, 2002 - 9:35 am:

Hey, it's a soap! People come back from the dead all the time!

By Lance Pepperman, millionair on Friday, March 15, 2002 - 10:23 am:

By Angry Fisherman, wandering over here by accident on Friday, March 15, 2002 - 11:46 am:

Arrgh! Thar ye be, Pepperman! Now I'll be a-gettin' ye fer sure!

By JD on Tuesday, March 19, 2002 - 11:21 pm:

Okay, as you may or may not have noticed, Mr. Pootywinkle's gone in favor of a more 'appropriate' section name. Phwoosh!

By KAM on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 - 4:07 am:

Should that be pronounced Laser Sword or Lasers Word? ;-)

By Regular Customer on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 - 4:10 am:

Hey, what happened to the old name? Where's Mr. Pootywinkle?

By Vinnie Von Venus on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 - 4:12 am:

By Mr. Ohman on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 - 10:59 pm:

A thin and handsome but very slightly sinister-looking man at the next table sets down his snifter of brandy and speaks up in a cultured voice.

"Really? I would have pegged you as more of a hash person. Can't be right all the time."

By KAM, the Kitchen Sink Moderator on Thursday, June 13, 2002 - 3:12 am:

Hey JD. Did you want Adventurer's Row moved down here? If so, maybe we can ask one of the Roving Mods to move it.

By JD on Thursday, June 13, 2002 - 9:36 am:

That would be nice, KAM, but I don't know if the Roving Mods have that power, I think this might be a job for the Chief.

BTW, this exact message is also on Bug the Moderator. :-)

By KAM on Friday, June 14, 2002 - 7:36 am:

Just take good care of Dungeon, Dragon, Demon, Damsel & Smith (Humor At Large). I like that little board.

By The Portal Policeman from Phantom etc. on Wednesday, October 02, 2002 - 3:07 am:

Ptchah! Cup of cawfee, please.

By JD on Wednesday, January 22, 2003 - 7:38 pm:

Things are pretty slow here. We should spice it up.

By The Spice Girls on Thursday, January 23, 2003 - 6:39 am:

People of the world
Spice up your life!
Every boy and every girl
Spice up your life!

By KAM making suggestions on Thursday, January 23, 2003 - 6:47 am:

You could probably move the Roll Call boards from inside Adventurer's Row & move them to the LICC Discussion area, as they mostly involve LICC characters.

The Knights Of Silvercliff boards should probably be moved to it's own section, like LICC or Greymoran. It was pretty popular at one time, but I think that being buried in Adventurer's Row, those people who might participate in it wouldn't know where to find it.

Phantom Returns might be deserving of it's own section.

Not sure if the Sprinkle Boy boards should get their own section or not as they are closed.

And whatever happened to poor Mr. Pootywinkle? Has anyone heard from him since he moved to Florida???

By KAM making more suggestions on Monday, June 16, 2003 - 3:26 am:

Should Roll Calls 1-4 be moved from Adventurer's Row to the LICC Discussion area?

The NEW Art Gallery should be moved to the LICC Discussion area. (or LICC Archives area)

As it looks like someone is trying to get the Sprinkle Boy story going again so the Sprinkle Boy adventure boards & discussion board should be moved to their own folder.

I think Brian wanted P.R. Discussion and Casting deleted.

By KAM on Sunday, June 27, 2004 - 3:22 am:

JD

The Phantom Return Of The Empire´s New Hope Strikes Back, Parts XXVI - XXXIII, as well as Dungeon, Dragon, Demon, Damsel & Smiths I & II are all over a 100k & can be closed to posting.

Also Brian wanted P.R. Discussion and Casting deleted.

By J. R. Scowling on Sunday, October 03, 2004 - 7:39 am:

Jenny? Padawan?

Is Jenny going to be posting on DDDDS or should an excuse be made for where Sir Melissa's gone?
