LICC Trivia

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: L.I.C.C.: League of Intergalactic Cosmic Champions III: The Discussion: LICC Trivia
By Padawan Observer on Saturday, February 02, 2002 - 4:06 pm:

The rules:

Someone comes up with an LICC trivia question, and when everyone else tries to answer it they MUST NOT look it up, even if they can. The first person to get it right has to think up the next question.

What was the name of the planet where Adon fought and defeated the villainous Dragmire?

By Brian Webber on Saturday, February 02, 2002 - 5:29 pm:

Kiehart Questions:

1. What is Jason Kiehart's former name?

2. In what European city did Kiehart live with his parents?

3. True or False: Kiehart's parents were both adulterers.

4. In what European country did Kiehart attend several boaridng schools?

5. What color hair did Kiehart's 'First Time' have? AND, what was her profession?

By tfx on Saturday, February 02, 2002 - 6:37 pm:

Webber, ever read the rules?

By JM on Sunday, February 03, 2002 - 12:40 am:

Adon ?: Don't Know

Kiehart ?s:
1. Logan Newcastle
2. Paris?
3. True
4. Don't know
5. Red, hooker

By Brian Webber on Sunday, February 03, 2002 - 2:58 am:

tfx: Exactly what rule did I break?

JM:

1. Correct (easy)
2. Wrong. (London)
3. True, although in the story Logan Newcastle: The Origin of Kiehart we only know about his mother's escapades.
4. Wrong. Spain.
5. Wrong. Teacher.

By Brian Webber on Sunday, February 03, 2002 - 3:01 am:

Oh, there are rules for this? I just saw "LICC Trivia in the subject line and thoguht, "Cool!"

Sorry Paddy. I ruined your game! I'm such an idiot! :(

By Padawan Observer on Sunday, February 03, 2002 - 3:45 am:

You're not an idiot, you're just a little too hasty. But so am I sometimes.

By KAM on Sunday, February 03, 2002 - 4:57 am:

4. In what European country did Kiehart attend several boaridng schools?

Kiehart went to school to learn how to ride Boars? ;-)

I can just see Kiehart, high on the hog, tracking down some swine & when he catches up with the pig, he fries the guy's bacon, telling him "You reap what you sow."

Webber, you've really got to learn to have fun with your typos. I know I do. ;-)

By Brian Webber on Monday, February 04, 2002 - 2:32 pm:

KAM: ROTFLMAO!

By JD on Tuesday, February 05, 2002 - 10:38 am:

Argh, I have no idea on your question, Paddy. Maybe a bit too obscure...

Lessee if Jason remembers...when he gets back.

By Jason on Saturday, February 09, 2002 - 2:42 pm:

Is it cheating if I look up my old stories for the answer?

By Josh M on Saturday, February 09, 2002 - 2:51 pm:

I don't think we'll ever get the answers if we can't look it up.

By Padawan Observer on Saturday, February 09, 2002 - 3:01 pm:

Oh, OK, look it up.

By Jason on Saturday, February 09, 2002 - 3:11 pm:

It was the Fourth planet in the Hercula system... the planet with 7 moons :)

By Josh M on Saturday, February 09, 2002 - 3:30 pm:

So, does this mean that it's Jason's turn?

By Padawan Observer on Saturday, February 09, 2002 - 3:36 pm:

Yes.

By Jason on Sunday, February 10, 2002 - 11:56 am:

And now... for something completely the same!

What is Adon's last name?

By JD on Sunday, February 10, 2002 - 11:57 am:

Mithral.

By Jason on Monday, February 11, 2002 - 6:43 pm:

Thou art correct, JD. And now, for your prize!

A dumptruck full of cookies bury JD

By ScottN on Monday, February 11, 2002 - 8:08 pm:

You shouldn't have been wearing that red shirt when you answered, JD :O

By JD, digging his way out of the pile on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 - 1:04 pm:

Hey, I was, too! :-)

My turn, eh? Lemme think...

By ScottN on Monday, July 15, 2002 - 11:51 am:

Well, JD? You've had an awful lot of time to think!

By JD on Monday, July 15, 2002 - 1:53 pm:

Hmm....no, gimme a few more months. :-D

By KAM on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 - 3:39 am:

Maybe we should add some time limits to this?

X amount of time to answer a question. (A week?)

X amount of time for the winner to come up with a question. (Ditto?)

By Josh M on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 - 11:41 am:

Come up with a question then KAM

By ScottN on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 - 11:59 am:

If KAM won't, then I've got one.

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 - 1:00 pm:

I actually like KAM's idea. Keep this board MOVING.

By KAM on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 - 6:41 am:

Well, I was just making a suggestion. I didn't have a question, however...

What did Old DC Fan say he called himself at an earlier time?

By Josh M on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 - 1:15 pm:

So, we have to answer this without looking it up?

By ScottN on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 - 4:39 pm:

Young DC Fan?

By KAM on Thursday, July 18, 2002 - 5:20 am:

Josh: Yes.

ScottN: While the names Young DC Fan & Middle-aged DC Fan do appear in my biography of the character, they have not appeared on any LICC boards, so your answer is incorrect.

Hint: DC is not part of the name.

By Josh M on Thursday, July 18, 2002 - 12:58 pm:

Stan?

By Josh M on Thursday, July 18, 2002 - 12:58 pm:

No, I guess that would be Old Marvel Fan.

Old Marvel Fan?

By KAM on Friday, July 19, 2002 - 3:09 am:

I had forgotten about the Old Marvel Fan post when I asked the question, however he never called himself that.

Okay, you can look it up if you want. I'll even narrow it down for you. It was on one of the first 30 LICC boards. ;-)

By The Seecret Poster on Friday, July 19, 2002 - 11:16 am:

Young National Periodicals Fan.

By KAM on Sunday, July 21, 2002 - 4:15 am:

Yes. That's correct. Before it legally became DC Comics, DC was officially National Periodicals Publications.

By ScottN on Sunday, July 21, 2002 - 6:06 pm:

I guess it's Seecret Poster's turn.

By The Seecret Poster on Sunday, July 21, 2002 - 7:07 pm:

Okay...

What band gave the concert that the League attended at Club Ted, during the first Negative story?

For extra points, who opened for that band?

For extra extra points, where was the concert held?

Try not to look, but if you guys can't get it after 4 or 5 days, go ahead.

By Josh M on Sunday, July 21, 2002 - 9:18 pm:

The Enigma Project (Or was it Project Enigma?).

I think that that was the name of the band. I don't know who opened. As for the last question, uh, Club Ted?

Maybe Nawdle would know the answers.

Maybe he's the Seeeeecret poster.

By JM again on Sunday, July 21, 2002 - 9:21 pm:

Oh, sorry. Only two e's

By The Seecret Poster on Sunday, July 21, 2002 - 9:40 pm:

Right. (Nope.)

It was. Binky the Magic Dolphin. The Cobabanana.

He might.

He isn't. :-)

Your turn, Josh.

By Nawdle on Monday, July 22, 2002 - 2:11 pm:

I did know. Not a big surprise, since I introduced Jadlad's sister on the same board right before the concert.

I wasn't the Seecret poster. Heck, I'm still not.

By Josh M on Thursday, November 28, 2002 - 5:20 pm:

According to X, what is the secret of ultimate reality?

(Sorry, I forgot that I had to do this... for 5 months.)

By Padawan Observer on Friday, November 29, 2002 - 9:43 am:

I know the answer, but since I was X, maybe I'm not qualified to answer?

By Josh M on Friday, December 06, 2002 - 5:45 pm:

If you want to Paddy, go ahead.

By Former Padawan Observer, two and a half years later on Sunday, June 19, 2005 - 2:37 pm:

Taxes.

What was the name of the book which contained the secret of how to create the Eye of Darkness?

By JM on Sunday, June 19, 2005 - 5:11 pm:

I knew it, but I had to look it up.

By KAM on Monday, June 20, 2005 - 1:22 am:

The Book of Mulder

By Snick on Monday, June 20, 2005 - 10:19 am:

Muldar, wasn't it?

By KAM on Monday, June 20, 2005 - 11:56 pm:

Could be. I was going from memory.

By Former Padawan Observer on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 2:26 am:

Both close. It was the Book of M'uldar.

By KAM on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 6:19 am:

So we each get to ask half a question? ;-)

By Former Padawan Observer on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 7:45 am:

Since Snick was closer, he probably gets the next question.

By Snick on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 12:14 pm:

Okay.

What color are Observer's eyes?

By The Observer on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 2:47 pm:

I disqualify myself from answering.

By Former Padawan Observer on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 3:44 pm:

Um... green?

By Josh M on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 9:15 pm:

Brown?

By A Snide Passerby on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 10:30 pm:

Plaid?

By Snick on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 - 10:32 am:

Green...I was hoping someone would do the research. :-)

Pad's turn, again.
