Goodnight, Mrs. Calabash!

By Jimmy Durante on Wednesday, March 27, 2002 - 2:06 pm:

Wherever you are!

By Jason on Wednesday, March 27, 2002 - 9:49 pm:

I have some Adon pictures for everyone, and since there is a space problem with the LICC site, I'm going to (hopefully) post them here for your enjoyment. You must cut and paste the links to see them. Sorry about that.

The younger version of Adon, before he grew the ponytail and started to go grey.

Another picture of Adon.

And, for a grand finale... Adon's sword.

By KAM on Thursday, March 28, 2002 - 6:17 am:

Jason, I click on those links & my browser dies.

And to answer what will probably be the obvious conclusion based on my posts on the LICC board.

No, I'm not.

By BF on Thursday, March 28, 2002 - 6:33 am:

KAM, Angelfire doesn't allow remote linking or clickable links to their images; you have to copy and paste to go to the pictures.

Cool sword, by the way, Jason.

By Nawdle on Thursday, March 28, 2002 - 10:26 pm:

Yeah. I like that sword too.

By Brian Webber on Thursday, March 28, 2002 - 11:01 pm:

I am such a geek, I had an Anatomicalreferencethatwedidn'tneedtoknowabout™ when I saw that sword! Pathetic isn't it? Maybe that's why I can't get a girlfriend.

By KAM on Friday, March 29, 2002 - 6:10 am:

Waaaaaay too much information, Webber. (And isn't a sword a pha... uh, never mind.)

The fancy hilt looked nice, but the thin shaft between the handle & the blade looked weak.

I liked Rikard's post with Lt. What.

By Jason on Friday, March 29, 2002 - 7:56 am:

The narrow part does look kinda weak, but I guess when the sword is made out of a supernaturaly strong and virtually unbreakable material, it really doesn't matter, does it?

And Webber, shudders, perhaps you should keep information like that to yourself...

By Kira Sharp on Sunday, March 31, 2002 - 8:08 am:

I like the sword too! Did you do those pictures yourself, Jason?

By Kira Sharp on Tuesday, April 02, 2002 - 12:55 pm:

Butrfli pix are now up! This was originally supposed to be a picture for Ansh's author, who requested it many months ago, but it went so atrociously wrong that I just morphed it into this instead. Sorry Ansh! I am trying!

http://www.geocities.com/kira_sharp/bfdes.html

By Kira Sharp on Tuesday, April 02, 2002 - 1:34 pm:

Passover Part Deux is coming up, so I will be away from my computer from this afternoon until Friday. Furby and Donna, I do hope you won't leave without me. (We should really take Artsy too, and she hasn't posted since Sunday night.) And I know it's difficult, but will someone please keep Butrfli mourning for at least long enough for us to have a try at something adventurous?

By Jon Wade on Tuesday, April 02, 2002 - 2:41 pm:

I like the pictures, Kira. It does capture the general look of Butrfli...
The blonde is Kes-like, and the black haired one is more cannon :)

By KAM on Wednesday, April 03, 2002 - 5:56 am:

Nice pics.

By KAM on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 5:43 am:

Apologies if Absurd missed anyone on the bridge.

By Kira Sharp on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 8:52 am:

To the Spear Carrier:
Listen, I only know what Adon's author wants me to know, and that's a general mission theme of "Make Sure He's Not Quite Dead Yet." (And what Tacoman's author wants me to know, which is "Knock Yourselves Out, But Please Let *Me* Decide Whether or Not You Raise My Character From the Dead.") I'm just working from there, and as far as I can tell, my two companions at this point (Pesti and Electron) were not even at the extracurricular briefing on the Mission Theme. My only "decision" regarding the plot so far is a strong preference not to do it Buffy-style or Spock-style, because that's cliched, and because going down to the Underworld to fetch him has more possibilities for an adventure.

If the Spear Carrier would care to divulge his or her identity, he or she would be welcome to join the Raising Adon and/or Tacoman From the Dead gang. Just hurry please, we're ought to leave as soon as Donna answers my question.

P.S. And I should also add that Artsy's Author was not at the extracurricular meeting either and spontaneously picked up on my prompting to include her character in the story somehow.

P.P.S. I heartily apologize if I have inadvertently shut you out of the plot. Please accept my apologies and join us.

By ScottN on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 9:30 am:

To Spear Carrier: I often feel the same way.

By Jason on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 10:27 am:

Well, I only have the beginning of the raise Adon/Tacoman plot worked out... Basicaly, I'm going to get the ball rolling, and see what happens.

However, as the Mysterious Voice has been saying: "My time is not yet ripe."

Soon, my plans will bear fruit, and the fruit will ripen, and then they will fall off the tree and hit someone on the head. And then, I will get sued.

By Isaac Newton on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 12:26 pm:

Ow! Where'd that apple come from?

By Dewey, of Dewey, Cheatham and Howe on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 2:26 pm:

Mr. Newton,

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Mr. Dewey -- of Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe, Attorneys at law. I would like to represent you in your lawsuit against the owner of that apple tree. I believe his name is "Jason".

My fee is a quite reasonable 60 percent...

By Brian Webber on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 2:28 pm:

Oh, I just had an interesting idea. Now please, hear me out. At least think about it before you violently reject it.

For LICC 3, when it goes in the Archive, ALL the chapoters/storylines, are named after Simon & Garfunkel songs! Huh? Yes? :)

By Lt Commander Data on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 2:30 pm:

Most people consider the apple story to be apocryphal.

By Dude on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 4:06 pm:

heh heh. Boy has JD got an idea for you. *Evil grin*

By JD (Jdominguez) on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 4:07 pm:

Okay, folks, a new story idea that Webber and I cooked up. Now we're pitching this so no-one will be left out.

Through some bizarre freak of nature, every character aboard the Spidermobile...is replaced by their actual, real-life authors! Yes, that means you. So we play ourselves, no powers, no special training, just us, and attempt to deal with being suddenly thrust into our own little futuristic universe.

Meantime, a rival superhero group, fed up with the huge fame of the LICC, is out to discredit them and steal their glory by any means necessary. Whaddya guys think?

Oh, and all no-name and nonregular characters, (redshirts, Holodoc), can stay as they are.

By Brian Webber on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 4:09 pm:

I like this idea. The sub-plot cna be keeping me and pesti from strangling each other. ;-)

By Electron on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 7:16 pm:

You'll have to spend some time with him in a stuck turbolift I promise you. Har har har!!!

Anyway, the idea looks nice. But what about the authors who are writing multiple characters? Are they just in a single instance on the ship or do they suddenly become multipletts?

Btw, I don't have the slightest idea where the Adon/Taco storyline is heading to.

By Jon Wade on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 7:34 pm:

That's the strangest idea yet... I like it!
Yeah! Would we have two of me, because of Tacoman and Butrfli? Would there be two Electrons because of the Furbies? Will there be a whole pack of KAMs?

By JD on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 7:37 pm:

No, only single authors. Doubles, etc, would just be too much.

By JD on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 7:38 pm:

Besides, I think we couldn't fit all the KAMs into the Spidermobile. :-D

By Electron on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 7:46 pm:

2 Furbys, 4 Teletubbies of Doom, xxx members of the Pokemon Drop Squad. Oh-oh. We would need a hotel ship flying next to the Spider.

By Josh M on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 8:42 pm:

We could grab the starship Titanic

By JD on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 8:47 pm:

What do the rest of you folks think of the ideer?

By Jason on Friday, April 05, 2002 - 9:22 pm:

I think it's an interesting idea.

By Padawan Observer on Saturday, April 06, 2002 - 3:55 am:

But let's keep in on hold for a while, OK??? I have... something planned.

By Jon Wade on Saturday, April 06, 2002 - 5:41 am:

Electron: And a partridge in a pear tree :)

By Anonymous on Saturday, April 06, 2002 - 9:42 am:

Padawan, I remind you of the Seventh Commandment.

By Padawan Observer on Saturday, April 06, 2002 - 10:26 am:

I know, I know. But since msot of the LICC is going into the afterlife/underworld, we should wait until they get back.

By Brian Webber on Saturday, April 06, 2002 - 2:56 pm:

I was thinking we'd start it with Part 15. I even thought of a title. Tell me what you think SIte Admin. "A None Too Pleasent Vacation." So simple, yet so descriptive. :)

By The Observer on Saturday, April 06, 2002 - 3:05 pm:

Well, it probably depends whether the Afterlife story takes only 50k to complete.

By Kira Sharp on Saturday, April 06, 2002 - 7:30 pm:

I like the idea too. But after the current storyline gets wrapped up. Also, one or two characters should feel free to follow Frangelica (or not!)... I just think it would be a more interesting adventure if more than one group was running around downstairs.

By KAM on Sunday, April 07, 2002 - 3:58 am:

Simon & Garfunkel? Nay. (Unless it somehow fits what happens on the board, but how many songs would?)
I believe that all titles should somehow relate to what happens, not be a pointlessly random choice.

If the heroes disappear, replaced by a motley assortment of authors, but the anonymous red/yellow/blueshirts remain, wouldn't the natural outcome be that they would arrest the authors assuming that they are somehow responsible for the disappearances?

And as most of my characters are leaving I'm not sure why you'd have to worry about a pack of KAMs.

Of course I did write myself on the first JARSO board. Boooooooooooooooooooring! It was more fun playing other characters so I wrote myself out as soon as possible.

The Afterlife storyline seems interesting, running into the ghosts of dead heroes (Hamburgermeister & Burger Boy, Dust-Speck Man) & villains (Duke Evil-Wicked, Captain Cola, Stripes Brannigan & Kif, Dragmire, others I can't remember).

By Jon Wade on Sunday, April 07, 2002 - 7:58 am:

And, of course, innumerable redshirts.
I have an idea on how to reintroduce Captain Tacoman...
Basically, the LICC finds themselves on what appears to be a suburban street. Tacoman has a house there, and is able to monitor what's going on in the land of the living. We find out why his immortality isn't perfect, and whether he wants to go back.

By Padawan Observer on Sunday, April 07, 2002 - 11:47 am:

Did you really need to say that here?

By Electron on Sunday, April 07, 2002 - 11:57 am:

If the heroes disappear, replaced by a motley assortment of authors, but the anonymous red/yellow/blueshirts remain, wouldn't the natural outcome be that they would arrest the authors assuming that they are somehow responsible for the disappearances?

Surely a plot twist would cause that they wont pay much attention to it. Maybe the authors are just the substitutes while the heroes are on vacation?

By Jon Wade on Sunday, April 07, 2002 - 1:42 pm:

Ok.. so Milkshake and his group are going after Adon, and Frangelica and Alt-Furby are trying to find Tacoman, right?
Just trying to clear things up :)

By Kira Sharp on Sunday, April 07, 2002 - 2:37 pm:

Currently, yes. I hope that at some point the two groups will meet up for the climax of the adventure.

I hope lots of things. I hope that my character will end up saving the day in an huge flamboyantly overdramatic deux ex machina, but, hmmm, wait, that wouldn't exactly be fun for anyone else, better not try that. :)

By Padawan Observer on Sunday, April 07, 2002 - 3:01 pm:

It's deus (god), not deux (two) ex machina.

By KAM on Monday, April 08, 2002 - 5:09 am:

I thought Insane was with the group that was going after Adon, why is he apparently responding to Frangelica's question about where Donna is?

By Kira Sharp on Monday, April 08, 2002 - 8:17 am:

Telepathy? ;-)
And that was a typo, Paddy. Sorry.

By Padawan Observer on Monday, April 08, 2002 - 10:13 am:

Maybe someone else also wondered aloud where Donna is. ;o)

By Electron on Monday, April 08, 2002 - 7:57 pm:

Uh, I'll be away for two days. Be gentle to the Furbys!

By Jason on Monday, April 08, 2002 - 9:37 pm:

Puts down the Furby Death Ray.

OK.

By Padawan Observer on Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - 11:27 am:

Hey Hey Hey Whoa Whoa Whoa!

Let's take a look at the bridge crew assignments/stations.

Before the Darth Terror storyline, this seemed to be the arrangement:

Captain - Jackson Tacoman
Ops - Cmdr Milkshake
Helm - Josh Rikard
Tactical I - Adon
Tactical II - Insane

Due to the demises of Adon and Jackson Tacoman, recently the arrangement has become:

Captain - Cmdr Milkshake
Ops - Insane
Tactical I - Alex Tacoman
Tactical II - Enesku

Shouldn't Josh be still at the helm? Yet Milkshake described him as taking his (Milkshake's) 'old seat'. But Milkshake's old seat was Ops.

By JD on Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - 11:59 am:

Kiehart should take the helm, that's what Milkshake was going to ask him before the memorial.

By Josh M on Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - 2:34 pm:

You mean he loses the helm now? Aw man! That's the only piloting Rikard ever does anymore. Can't he be helm and XO?

By JD on Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - 2:42 pm:

You don't mind doing both, Josh?

By Jon Wade on Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - 3:28 pm:

Rikard could join the Banshee Squad :)

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - 5:20 pm:

Look, as soon as Kiehart is able to walk again he'll become Flight Commander again. Period. Rikard is still the helm officer. Why? CAUSE I SAID SO! Hey, it works for my parents.

By BF on Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - 8:20 pm:

Sorry, but "CAUSE I SAID SO!" only works if you happen to be Stone Cold Steve Austin.

By Brina Webber on Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - 8:30 pm:

BF: EWWWWWW! I HATE wrestling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By Anonymous on Tuesday, April 09, 2002 - 8:52 pm:

"Brina"? Is she Brian's sister?

By Padawan Observer on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 - 5:48 am:

Anyway, if they get Adon back from the Underworld wouldn't he (Adon) become XO instead?

By BF on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 - 7:59 pm:

***********ATTENTION***********

I'm starting a board to discuss the idea of a series about The Wytch Queen over in Zen Forward (The Kitchen Sink), to see if its even a feasible idea. If I can't get enough people interested, I'll scrap the idea, and just have Captain Biggens and crew show up in LICC occasionally.

By Josh M on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 - 9:20 pm:

Wouldn't Rikard have to accept demotion?

By BF on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 - 9:52 pm:

Josh, I believe so.

The Wytch Queen discussion board is open, btw.

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 - 10:04 pm:

BF: I would, really, but the two I'm doing is hard enough as is. You know how many tiems I get lost and forget what I was doing, or where my characters just were! Sorry man. Maybe I'll do a guest shot during the HFJG-Rebuild hiatus.

By BF on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 - 10:59 pm:

Dahamn! Now I'll have to find someone else to misspell when they post in WQ.

J\K :)

By Artsys Author on Thursday, April 11, 2002 - 3:13 am:

Josh, you just joined the Misspeller's Club. :) They got on the "fairy"?

By Padawan Observer on Thursday, April 11, 2002 - 3:19 am:

Surely not the Bucklebairy fairy???

By KAM on Thursday, April 11, 2002 - 4:08 am:

What's the glittery stuff on the bottom of your shoe?

Tinkerbell

By Josh M on Thursday, April 11, 2002 - 3:32 pm:

Hey they're homonyms. Close enough.

Maybe the ferry of the Underworld is shaped like a fairy. A fairy ferry. Or maybe Rikard is hallucinating.

As for the Club, I joined that long ago (as well as the bad grammar club).

By Jon Wade on Thursday, April 11, 2002 - 3:47 pm:

How long has grammer been bad, and does grandpa know about it?

By KAM on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 5:22 am:

Hmmm, I was under the assumption that Enesku & Artsy were in a fantasy. Guess it's a good thing that I didn't have Quito remove her face mask & reveal the head of Mary Worth.

BTW Paddy, what have you got against Mary Worth? OK it's a mediocre comic strip, but there are much worse ones around.

Jon, of course, grandpa knows. How do you think they first met?

By Padawan Observer on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 8:43 am:

KAM, go to http://www.snopes.com/horrors/ghosts/bloody.htm and your questions will be answered. It has nothing to do with the comic strip.

By Kira Sharp on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 10:40 am:

What in blue blazes...? Is it sweeps month at the L.I.C.C or something? At this rate Terry Prachett's Death is going to become a full League member or something.

I respectfully request that Artsy's Author continue this thread by either:
1) noticing that Rikard, alt-Furby, and Frangelica are at the Main Desk in the Underworld
...or...
2) eventually confirming that Artsy is not exactly dead

It's her character, of course...

By The Spectre on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 11:52 am:

Then why are you telling her what to do?

By Death on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 12:35 pm:

NOW I HAVE MORE WORK TO DO... ARGH.

By Artsys Author, who knew shed push some buttons with this on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 1:19 pm:

LOL...poor death.

Now...I've had this in my head for a while. Rest assured that I am not leaving LICC, but...um...if you look for Artsy in the Afterlife, you aren't going to find her there.

Can the rest of my thoughts be a surprise?

By Kira Sharp on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 1:39 pm:

Sure sounds fine to me! As long as she's not going to turn up there six weeks down the line, creating a giant plot nit along the lines of, "Why didn't the gang see Artsy in the afterlife after she died?" then I have no further objections. I look forward to seeing what you are planning and am quite content to wait until the Time is Ripe.

After all, Frangelica certainly can't look for Artsy down Below because she does't know that she's dead! :)

To the Spectre:
Meow! Who's telling anyone what to do? I said "respectfully request," didn't I? I just didn't want there to be any huge hanging plot nits... especially since Butrfli has already suggested searching for dead Artsy in the afterlife.

By BF on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 1:55 pm:

This doesn't mean you're dumping Artsy and creating a new character to use, does it?

By Artsys Author, freaking out on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 2:12 pm:

I'm not telling. :)

JASON! Artsy was still in the mirror when Quito felt her die, and then the mirror broke! SHE IS NOT IN SICKBAY!

no,no,no,noooooooooooo..........

By BF, offering a better way to resolve Jason`s error than just asking JD to delete the post on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 2:41 pm:

I guess Adon isn't fully recovered from being dead. Now he's having hallucinations about Artsy and Holodoc!

By Jason on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 3:03 pm:

Shoot!

Well, I guess he can behave a little weird. How many people do you know came back from the dead and then behaved perfectly normal? ;)

By A Star Trek Fan on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 3:47 pm:

Spock?

By The same Star Trek Fan on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 3:47 pm:

Or Kirk?

By X-Files and Star Trek fan on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 4:14 pm:

Mulder? O'Brien?

By Josh M on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 4:25 pm:

No it's not sweeps month. That's still over 17 days away.

By Sweeps Idea Man on Saturday, April 13, 2002 - 5:00 am:

Yes, and this time LICC will be fighting crime on Clothing-Optional Beachworld.

Some of you actors may want to hit the gym & start working on your tans.

By Romantic LICC Fanfic Writer on Saturday, April 13, 2002 - 5:49 am:

I believe in Mary Sue!

I believe in Mary Sue!

I believe in Mary Sue!

By Kira Sharp on Sunday, April 14, 2002 - 7:37 am:

Hey Jason, is Bell allowed to return for another adventure? And is she allowed to be in genuine danger, or is she all omnipotent?

By Jason on Sunday, April 14, 2002 - 7:25 pm:

Well, I suppose Bell could return again.
She isn't technicaly all omnipotent, but she can't be harmed by anyone that the LICC can face and hope to win.

By Kira Sharp on Monday, April 15, 2002 - 9:35 am:

Is it just me, or has the idea about "the heroes of the LICC learn that some actions have irrevocable consequences" been completely thrown out? Adon died, and the crew was able to walk in, chat him up, and walk out again without any more challenge than that! Tacoman died, and now he's talking about coming back whenever he feels like it after he's gotten bored with being dead! Whatever happened to dead people having a natural tendency to stay dead?

By Jason on Monday, April 15, 2002 - 9:44 am:

Well, in Adon's case, there were a lot of things going on behind the scenes to bring him back. The LICC was just the group to go out and get him. All the hard work (and the things that would normally prevent such things) was actually being done by unseen entities. Bell was merely their representative.

By Kira Sharp on Monday, April 15, 2002 - 12:38 pm:

I hope we'll get to see that officially in the plotline that the Conclave seems to be referring to! :) Did you get my email, btw?

By Jason on Monday, April 15, 2002 - 1:11 pm:

I haven't gotten your email. You did send it to the address listed here, and not one of Adon's many addresses. How he remembers them all, I have no idea ;)

By Jason on Monday, April 15, 2002 - 4:10 pm:

Well, it's tax time again, and you know what that means... it's time for me to hide out in canada to avoid the IRS.

In the mean time, I have a boatload of new and previously unseen (unless you're me) Adon pics. Once again, you're going to have to cut and paste the url into the address bar to see the pics.

The older version of Adon...

By BF on Monday, April 15, 2002 - 8:51 pm:

Cool. What anime series are those pictures from, anyway?

By Jason on Monday, April 15, 2002 - 9:04 pm:

They're shamelessly stolen from Orphen. I suppose, I could simply print them, and then trace the images by hand.... That would make them originals, wouldn't it?

By BF on Monday, April 15, 2002 - 9:15 pm:

Never heard of Orphen before. Is it a series, or a movie? OAV or Japanese tv?

By Jason on Monday, April 15, 2002 - 10:34 pm:

It's a series. Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, to be exact. Currently, 4 DVDs have been released in the states, with 2 more (I think) on the way. I don't know about the VHS version since I stopped getting tapes once I got the DVD player.

By BF on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 - 1:43 am:

Ah. I'd probably buy tapes. The only DVD player I've got is the one built into my computer.

The only series I'm interested in right now are Martian Successor Nadesico and Sorceror Hunters. I'm about halfway through Nadesico (12 tapes in all), and have the first two Sorceror Hunters tapes (4 in all, I think, but there's a second series with a different name).

And I only buy dubbed. If I wanted to read, I'd grab a book.

By Jason on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 - 8:42 am:

Thats the beauty of buying the DVD... I can watch either the subbed or the dubbed versions without buying two copies.

By Padawan Observer on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 - 10:43 am:

If we keep on having these 'ground-breaking jaw-dropping plot twists with permantent lasting effects which get fixed up and reversed almost instantly' I'm just going to stop posting. Please, people, refrain from making major changes unless you want to stand by them.

By JD on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 - 10:47 am:

Death does seem to be rather cheap around LICC. I just hope this doesn't spark a rash of 'dying and coming back without a scratch'. The whole tragedic ending of the Terror storyline was nicely poignant at the beginning, with two heroes dead, and only one coming back through amazing means. Now the whole thing just makes me grimace...

By JD on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 - 11:22 am:

LICC is just too unrealistic now, it seems. It's getting too easy to God-Mode...it seems to me we should just make things take EFFORT to accomplish...*sigh*

By Kira Sharp on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 - 11:54 am:

As soon as Frangelica and associates return from the Underworld, I am going to start a thread which should give this last one some Consequences. The LICC may yet have an opportunity to learn that there is no free launch.

By Jon Wade on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 - 12:12 pm:

Maybe Tacoman could turn into an undead creature on occasion?

Well, all I can say is when Rikard dies, he will die. (Of course, I don't know when he'll die. Maybe he'll live to be 300 or something.)

(slyly) Maybe Tacoman can take some time off and raise his kids in an environment where they're not getting abducted all the livelong day.

By ScottN, stating the obvious on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 - 4:55 pm:

Maybe they could be working on the railroad (all the livelong day) instead.

Also remember Kira, that the LICC Universe was created for the LICC by The Queue. It's possible the deck has been stacked in favor of LICC.
(I was planning to have Patricia make a comment about how good usually defeats evil in the LU because it was created that way. Of course I thought there would be some discussion & mingling before everyone went off to the land of the dead, so a number of conversations & ideas never happened.)

I was also planning to post some stuff in the Tacoman story, but a tree fell on the power lines & by the time I got back on line it was too late.

Suddenly my 3D&Rs rule suggestion doesn't seem so stoopid does it?

By Josh M on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 - 4:57 pm:

I guess we'll just have to ask the Queue.

What are you talking about Webber?

By JD on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 - 5:07 pm:

Whachoo talkin' 'bout, Webber?

Even 2 deaths and ressurections seem too much for me. And hey, Milkshake never died! (heads THAT argument off right there :-))

Anyway, this is a little messed up. I have to apologize to everyone, I haven't been watching as closely as I should have. Suffice it to say that Milkshake reacted appropriately when Taco reappeared and a joyous reunion was had by all. Phew. :-D

By JM on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 - 5:14 pm:

Oh, right, his 3 deaths and resurrections rule. Well, we've had 3 deaths and 2 resurrections all at the same time.

When Webber made that rule, didn't he also mean instances that appeared to be deaths? Like when it appeared Milkshake had exploded with Viper or when it appeared Praetorius had vaporized Milkshake or when it appeared that Milkshake in Timmy McGurk's body appeared to be vaporized by Negative's security robot?

By KAM on Thursday, April 18, 2002 - 4:14 am:

I thought Milkshake in Timmy McGurk's body WAS vaporized, but that the Q Continuum reversed time to avoid it.

And if it means anything Hamburgermeister & Burger Boy are still dead. (I was going to have them show up as Tacoman's wacky neighbors in the afterlife, but the power failure...)

By JD, embarrassed at all the skeletons being let out to air on Thursday, April 18, 2002 - 9:51 am:

No, he was transported away.

No more of that for Milkshake, kay?

By Brian Webber on Thursday, April 18, 2002 - 1:04 pm:

No it only applied to ACTUAL deaths, not neccesarily travelling into the afterlife to go after someone, or beign THOUGHT to be dead, but actually alive.

And of course the big exception was Robots.

By Brian Webber on Thursday, April 18, 2002 - 1:08 pm:

Oh I also said that IF we implmented it (which we enver did), it would NOT be retroactive.
