The Archangel Soundtrack

Nitcentral's Bulletin Brash Reflections: L.I.C.C.: The Archangel Trilogy: The Archangel Discussion Board: The Archangel Soundtrack
By Brian Webber on Saturday, April 20, 2002 - 12:29 am:

I have indeed made a CD, but don't worry I won't be selling it. If and when my unemployment checks start coming, I'll give 'em to all four Angel cast members for FREE! Yes, free. As a gift. With (if the printer gets fixed) full color covers.

1: Teohitucan by Noel Gallagher
2: We Are by Vertical Horizon
3: How Soon Is Now by Love Spit Love
4: Keep Hope Alive by The Crystal Method
5: I Shot Lucifer by Bionic Jive
6: Sehnsucht by Rammstein
7: One by Filter
8: Prison Song by System Of A Down
9: On The Outside by Staind
10: Stroke Of Luck by Garbage
11: How I Could Just Kill A Man by Rage Against The Machine
12: Breakdown by Tantric
13: Blow Up The Outside World by Soundgarden
14: Safe From Harm (Massive Attack Remix) by Lisa Gerrard & Pieter Bourke
15: Still by Alanis Morrisette

Discuss the songs amongst yourselves. Which one syou like, which ones you hate, what songs you'd like to have seena dded, etc.

By BF on Saturday, April 20, 2002 - 3:27 am:

?! I didn't know Rage did a cover of How I Could Just Kill A Man!

The only songs I've heard on that list are Sehnsucht, Prison Song, and Breakdown.

By Josh M on Saturday, April 20, 2002 - 12:11 pm:

Ah, no "We Are the Champions"? J

By JM on Saturday, April 20, 2002 - 12:11 pm:

Dude, that Smiley I inserted stinks. How do you get the yellow one?

By Brian Webber on Saturday, April 20, 2002 - 1:57 pm:

Josh: Wrong show! That's like asking why Star Trek stopped using "I'll Be There For You" (the theme from Friends), cause no Trek show has ever used a one-hit wonder Scottish pop group.

:) Just enter a : and a ) with no spaces between them. :)

BF: Yep. Thye did. It's from the Renegades album.

By Brian Webber on Thursday, May 09, 2002 - 1:36 pm:

Well, I have a job now! Yeah! Why am I bringing this up? Simple. I'm now gonna send out the Archangel Trilogy soundtrack CD for FREE! That's right. I already ahve 4 copies made with an official look to them by way of regular CD cases as oppsoed to thin ones I'm using for the LICC CDs. I already have Josh's addy so he'll get his first. The rest of the Archangel cast (and ONLY the Archangel cast, Kira! ;-) ) can send their addys to my e-mail, and they should get there pretty soon.

I was kidding Webber.

By Brian Webber on Friday, May 10, 2002 - 9:26 pm:

I was half-joking myself Josh. BTW,m your Archangel CD is on the way.

By Brian Webber on Thursday, May 23, 2002 - 2:25 pm:

Hey Josh. Did you get your CD? You should've gotten it by now. How about a review? I'm generally open to constructive criticism.

By Josh M on Thursday, May 23, 2002 - 9:00 pm:

Actually, i thought it was better than LICC's. It was a good CD.

By Brian Webber on Friday, May 24, 2002 - 2:00 pm:

Wow. Thanks. Talk about a glowing review!

How about my chocie of songs? Some people at View Askew gave me •••• for using Vertical Horizon and Alanis.

By Brian Webber on Thursday, June 06, 2002 - 9:16 pm:

BTW, don't you think How Soon Is Now is the PERFECT theme song for Jackson? In particular the line "I am human and I need to be loved."

By Josh M on Friday, June 07, 2002 - 12:53 am:

My personal opinion on Alanis is that I would definitely not use her for the CDs last song.

By Brian Webber on Friday, June 07, 2002 - 10:59 pm:

Josh: Oh not, not another Alanis basher. Don't ytou people have anything BETTER to do than pick on Candian songwriters? Yeah, her second album wasn't that great I admit that, but her last album, and the song she did for Dogma (which I used for this Archangel Soundtrack BTW) were stunningly brilliant!

By Josh M on Saturday, June 08, 2002 - 11:52 pm:

Sorry, I just don't like Alanis' music. Celine's okay though (happy?)

By Brian Webber on Monday, June 10, 2002 - 6:50 pm:

EWWWW! HER? Celine "Meet my Fathe-uh, I mean Husband" Dion? Dude! You probably like Mariah Scary too.

By JD on Monday, June 10, 2002 - 10:34 pm:

Um, Web, that description of Celine seems highly ironic, coming from you. :-D

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 - 11:27 am:

Uh, why is it ironic?

By JD on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 - 11:43 am:

Well...

Isn't it true you have an affinity for a woman twice your age? :-)

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 - 11:31 pm:

More than twice actually but for the record I've neither married, nor slept with Meredith Vieira, so that's different.

By Josh M on Sunday, June 16, 2002 - 12:33 pm:

No. I am no fan of Mariah. Besides, first you do the whole "no one likes Canadians" then I say that one is okay and then... Oh, never mind.

JD has a point too. Very ironic indeed.

By Brian Webber on Sunday, June 16, 2002 - 7:38 pm:

My 'no one likes Canadians' thing was a joke" I'd think that was obvios. I love Canada! You ever see the movie Canadian Bacon?

By Josh M on Sunday, June 16, 2002 - 11:26 pm:

No, never even heard of it.

By Brian Webber on Sunday, June 16, 2002 - 11:30 pm:

You should. It's a farcical take on the Gulf War, and is VERY funny. :)

By JD on Monday, June 17, 2002 - 8:08 am:

It is a great, funny movie.

"Snow...eleven months of the year. Mayonnaise on everything. Anne Murray. All day. EVERY DAY."

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, June 26, 2002 - 3:33 pm:

Hey Paddy, do you want a copy of the Archangel CD? If not, could you say so now? I made enough copies for everyone (cept JD cause he doesn't want ANYTHING mailed to him). If you don't want one I could give it to somebody else like mandy or maybe even Brian Lynch since we're, well, aquaintences anyway.

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, June 26, 2002 - 3:36 pm:

Boy, this has not sparked a serious discussion like I'd hoped.

By Brian Webber on Tuesday, July 16, 2002 - 1:44 pm:

Hey Paddy, still thinking about it?

How about you Jon? Jason?

By Padawan Observer on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 - 10:49 am:

Sorry, I wouldn't.

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, July 17, 2002 - 1:28 pm:

OK. That one's going to Lynch then. Maybe he'll make fun of it in the Angry Naked Pat movie! :)

How about the rest of you?

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 - 2:42 pm:

OK guys, I've had a few people express an interest in my Archangel CDs, so I need to know, ASAP, wether ANY of youse wants a copy. I need to knwo so I'll know how many copies I'll need to set aside to be mailed out, and how many will be going to friends at work. So PLEASE get back to me, 'kay? Thanks.

By Brian Webber on Monday, March 03, 2003 - 1:15 pm:

Allow to post for you, what my sister Mandy said about the Archangel CD when she got her copy last week.

This one is going right into my iTunes and straight onto my iPod. There are three songs on there that I actually already listen to regularly and adore, Teotihuacan, Sehnsucht and One. There isn't one song on the entire Archangel Soundtrack that I didn't enjoy completely. I actually listened to it in the car after work and then finished listening later at home. Great choices, Bri. I am so happy you sent this to me. Thank you so much. That Alanis song at the end is really good. She is so underrated!

By ? on Wednesday, March 05, 2003 - 2:08 am:

Got anything by Audioslave (Rage Against The Machine with Chris Cornell as the lead singer, basically) on the Rebuild soundtrack?

By Brian Webber on Wednesday, March 05, 2003 - 11:49 am:

?: No, fraid not. Maybe for Mirror Dance, but that's a LONG way off.

Archangel: Rebuild The Soundtrack

Coming Fall 2003

Available
I'll take o-

only at Brian Webber's house
oh wait, never mind.

By Brian Webber on Thursday, March 06, 2003 - 10:07 pm:

Well, I could MAKE one for you if you really want one. You see, my little debacle with the LICC/Archangel soundtracks l;ast year taught me alot about supply and demand. If there's no demand, don't make a ••••••• supply. So, instead of making ten copies then hoping ten people ask for them (which leaves me with nothing but wasted CDs), I just amke 'em one at a time, as they are requested.

BTW, I lost the piece of paper that had your snail-mail on it, so if you want a copy, go ahead and e-mail it to me (I made one. I know, I said I'd wait till fall but I got excited. :) ).

By BF on Thursday, March 27, 2003 - 2:42 pm:

Hmmm.....strange. That post by ? was made by me. No idea why it didn't put my name....
