The announcer at the end of each week's show on the 50's Lamont Johnson Tarzan tells us that the individual episodes are "transcribed from the pen of Edgar Rice Burroughs." However, although the stories are very much true to Burroughs' concept, the ones on this particular show were all original and did not seem to be based directly on any of Burroughs' books.
