"DON'T OPEN THAT CLOSET!!!"
(crash! boom! tinkle! rumble! tumble! Ping ping ping!)
FUNNY EVERY TIME!
This is the classic example of a show that could never work on television, and I don't mean the closet. Simply put, this was a series that was two people sitting in a house, and other people would walk in and talk to them (for the most part). And it worked!
"Now that ain't the way I heerd it..."
"Whatcha doin', mister? Huh?"
"MCGEE!"
"Oh, that's my big fat wife. Sweetyface."
"Hello, fatso."
Lots of classic characters. Doc Gamble is played by Arthur Q. Bryan, who voiced Elmer Fudd. Bill Thompson (Wallace Wimple) would voice Droopy.
