There's an error in The Encyclopedia of Old Time Radio concerning this series. It claims that it's based on Space Cadet by Robert Heinlein, but it's not. When you think of it, while Heinlein's stuff could work on an episode of Dimension X, it certainly wouldn't work as a series (especially a kid series). There was a novel entitled Tom Corbett, Space Cadet, the author of which I can't recall. Can anyone say?
