A great sarcastic line by Basil when Sybil is on the phone to Audrey. We hear Sybil keep saying "I know", "I know." to which Basil retorts to himself "Why are you telling her then!"

Did you all know that Mrs. Penoir is a play on words? I know I probably didn't spell her name right. A penoir is a type of neglege.

This episode marks the first time Sybil engages her "Seal-like" laugh.

Prunella Scales improvised the laugh herself.

Oooowwweeeeee did Polly look hot in this one! She would have looked even better with her hair down, but she wore it up for the first series and four years later had a different 'do for series two.

She was 31 when they did series one in 1975, and series two was four years later she was 35. (I'll be 35 this year.) And Connie and John married in 1968 and had a daughter in 1972. They divorced in 1978 but still wrote and performed series two. That was pretty interesting, I thought.

Well, I said it about Kim Kardashian and Kirsty Alley, so I shall say it about Connie Booth as well. She really had great breasts back in the day, and I get why she wore no bra so that Basil could make those Freudian slips on the phone. And also cuz it was hot. And she was hot too! Oh yeah!
