Any thoughts?
What do YOU want?
How about including The Fast Show, and/or Spaced? And what about Father Ted?
I actually wrote to Phil about my initial concerns re a board for something like Father Ted way back when the board started - it's one of my favourite sitcoms of the last 10 years. I did nothing then because of the show's content, but thinking about it now it is possible - just not yet in the immediate future. Fast Show and Spaced may follow too depending on how things go.
Thank you to whoever removed the double episode postings on "Monty Python"
No they didn't!
Yes "they" did...
I always loved "The Young Ones" Rik, and Vivian, and Neal(you hippie). They always had good music too.
Nobody ever mentions Mike or Alexi Sayle (and no, I wasn't being sar-cos-TIC). But I'm game- perhaps if there's interest they should merit their own board. Vegetable Rights and Peace!!!
Well, I've set up the brand new all-purpose multi-surface Kitchen Sink on the title page (the one with the large friendly letters in the title), which is now ready and waiting.... and lonely.
Lonely no more!
Thanks. I haven't seen many episodes of the Young Ones, but I'll see how the little board develops.
And for the more keen-of-eye among you, I've set up boards for a new show, following popular demand and much hand-wringing. Enjoy!
What do we want? Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean! Mr. Bean!
Hmmmm, I wonder what the RA Fan Club want me to put up next? "The Thin Blue Line" perhaps.
What about 'The Good Life'? Or do we all know the words of all the episodes by heart now?
Or is that not the sort of thing you mean?
Does anyone here remember two (in my mind) priceless British comedies.
Firstly Citizen Smith starring Robert Lindsay, the leader of the Communist Tooting Popular Front.
And
Get Some In, a show about National Service in the RAF during the 1950's. Tony Selby who played a Sergeant in "The Detectives" was Corporal (later Sergeant) Marsh, Robert Lindsay was one of four guys who were drafted into the RAF. He was a Teddy Boy.
Also, a show that deserves mention was from Channel 4 called 'Spaced', filled full of cult TV and Film references along with a lot of other stuff.
Re:Absolutely Fabulous
Methinks you should add a thread/converstion for Series 5,Sven, as the BBC has shown this in the U.K recently...!
What about a thread for Men Behaving Badly.
Another one that might be worthy of inclusion is Black Books.
Would Horrible Histories count?
How about Yonderland?
Any chance of adding The Navy Lark to the Radio Comidies section?
