Is this part of the Superman family of comics?

By Lee Jamilkowski (Ljamilkowski) on Friday, July 19, 2002 - 10:40 pm:

Not the other comics like Man of Steel, etc. This comic is in line with the continuity of the Smallville television series and the artwork and stories are based on the show as opposed to other incarnations of the Superman mythology.

Scott, if you want to read some Superman stories that focus on Clark's transition from farm boy to Metropolis reporter, buy the four issue miniseries Superman for All Seasons. It was written by Jeph Loeb, who wrote the episode Red. It received widespread critical acclaim.
