So now we find out that Martha is going to have a baby. I wonder if it'll be a girl, and they'll named it Kara?? :)

Chloe has bought a new car since the season finale.

Watching the final scene with Steadman (now available on the Smallville soundtrack), I couldn't help but laugh at John Schneider. It was such deja vu to his old show "The Dukes of Hazzard." Every now and then, Boss Hogg would catch a country star in his "celebrity speed trap," and the episode would end with the entire cast in the Boars Nest listening to the group. Schneider could always be heard yelling "yeehaw" during these acts. I missed that last night!

Actual Nits:

Why didn't Clark catch the lemonade "bottle" as well? Sure he is fast enough!

Interesting what different effects meteor rocks
has in different forms on different people!

The Kents are sure very lucky NO ONE saw that spaceship at the hospital.

I thought Clark & Pete OR the DCA were going wrong direction on the road.
Away & towards the farm, but the truck must have turned 180° in the crash.

But Pete & Clark (w/o Powers) are sure strong pushing the truck back on the road.

..

Ever since Ryan there were speculations about a pregnancy.

So did the ship cure her or make her pregnant itself?

No Lionel in this one?

My understanding is that it healed whatever definciency she had that prevented her from becoming pregnant, and that she and Jonathan did the rest.

Johnathan was fixing the sink back in the 1st season episode "Obscura." He must not be a very good plumber!

I wonder if perhaps if the checked the baby DNA's would it not be human. Perhaps more similair to Clark's and perhaps female. Maybe the ship had an embryo in statsis and tranported into Martha once the key was placed in the ship.

My only problem with the whole pregnancy is that there's never a mention (that I'm aware) of the Kents having another child in any incarnation of Superman, be it comic or TV/Movie. I suppose the child will have to die, which really sucks, because having a Superman for an older brother would give a kid either serious bragging rights, or some kind of complex growing up.

I think Clark was regaining his strength as they pushed.

I'm not sure but it looked like you could see the arm of the crane (which was pulling the truck) reflected in the paintwork in one shot.

Whoa, it's like watching Buffy all over again. That Chloe/unconscious Clark was exactly like the Xander/unconscious Willow scene from the end of Season 2. They profess their love, the sleeping person says the name of someone else.

Was there any doubt that Pa Kent would get caught? Didn't seem like the sneakiest break-in to me.

I didn't realize that someone else was driving the truck until I saw the roadblock though.

Ah, poor Chloe. Too bad I've already seen S4 and know where all of this goes.

Josh, that particular cliche was around long before Buffy. :)
