They did a great job of making Canada look like China, with the use of great interiors, outdoor markets, guest casting, and stock footage. Good job.

And speaking of stock footage, the shot of the LuthorCorp jet whizzing through the clouds was lifted from the season premiere.

And speaking of the LuthorCorp jet, Lana told Clark that Lionel arranged its use for her. How did he pull this off? Lex told us that Lionel no longer has any pull at LuthorCorp.

The shot of Dr. Swann on the cover of Time Magazine was not a prop. Christopher Reeve was actually on the cover of Time back when Superman came out. That was the actual issue.

If Dr. Crosby took off with the transference stone, how come she didn't do likewise with the key?

Maybe that's just what Lex thinks...

Was he named man of the year that year? If not, there was at least some doctoring of the mag.

They explained Lois being gone, but where the frick was Chloe? Off visiting Pete?

After the fight with Witchay-Woman, Clark should've just X-rayed around the area to look for the doodad. I can't think of any reason other than stupidity that he wouldn't. Maybe he wouldn't be able to say "hey your dumbass boyfriend pocketed my ancient Kryptonian doodad" but at least he'd know where it is and be able to come up with a plan to get it back.

That issue of Time magazine actually appeared, IIRC, in the episode in which Swann first appeared.

The discovery of kryptonite in the temple raises an interesting question - was there kryptonite on Earth before Krypton exploded?

I agree more with Nitty though. Where was Chloe?

Well... there shouldn't even be Kryptonite in existance before Krypton went boom, so either there's time travel involved or you've uncovered a major nit. Or they just don't give a <rap on the show about making things fit anything even close to the comics. And we know they don't...

Anyway,

but what IS the point of putting it there
so the true owner of the stones can't reach it
himself?
