I think that goes under "Arrival"

Done.

Sheriff Adams is in the middle of a manhunt, and she takes time out for a coffee break at the Kents? Couldn't the woman have gotten hers to go? I mean after all, she came to the house with sirens blaring, which says to me she was in a hurry! And while we're on the subject, she asks where Martha is, but how come she doesn't ask about Clark?

SOMEONE please tell me they have a copy of this episode on tape they can lend me! I accidentally put my TV on NBC last night after programming my VCR, and ended up taping Joey and Will & Grace instead of this. I also notice no mention of a repeat on Saturday or Sunday in TV Guide.

Although I'm sure you would have found your usual reasons to trash it, you missed a really good episode Luigi!

At the end, Clark and Lana finally do it!

What "usual reasons"? For the most part, I think Smallville is a good show, though I think the third season (and especially its premiere) was weak.

I critique the episodes, and point out nits, but I don't "trash" them.

By John-Boy on Sunday, October 09, 2005 - 7:18 pm:

Sometimes your "critique"ing sounds alittle mean and unfounded, however . . .

I kind of agree with you about some parts of the 3rd season, although I liked the premiere, and I could have done without the whole Jason and his crazy mother sub plot at the end of the 4th season. But all in all, Smallville is still a much better show than Enterprise! :)

Doesn't anyone have ANY nits for this episode?

By LUIGI NOVI on Sunday, October 09, 2005 - 9:57 pm:

Well, I liked the last two episodes I saw, and didn't really say anything really bad about them. But if ever you want to present your alternate viewpoints on my critiquing (or as you call it, my "critique"ing--:)) I would encourage you to share it (albeit in a civil manner).

Level 3 looks a lot different than the last time we saw it, back in season 1's "Jitters." And instead of all the Mission Impossible stuff Clark did to reach Level 3, why didn't he just take the elevator? Worf's brother Kurn, aka Tony Todd, showed him where it was!

I thought it was funny when the Belle Reeve escapee referred to his accomplices as "The Wonder Twins." Whenever they brought their hands together, I could just hear them saying "Wonder Twin powers...activate!"

By Brian Lombard on Monday, October 10, 2005 - 4:05 pm:

Oh, and did the Wonder Twins remind anyone else of the Binars from TNG?

By John-Boy on Monday, October 10, 2005 - 4:35 pm:

I was reminded of the Wonder Twins that you are talking about and of the Binars from TNG's 11001001.

I was kind of worried about this episode during the first couple of minutes. Everyone seemed to get over everything in the last eispde WAY too fast. Once the action started up, however, I was very impresed. The pacing was quite good, and I like the Clark/Chloe interplay during the heist. ("Oh, you could just turn everything off, to. That works") If only the obligatory WB romance wasn't... obligitory WB romance.

Well, she knew that four people had gone by the house and not come back. I got the impresion that she could tell something was up and was just stalling.
