Wow. (Last Day Board Spoiler Warning.) They killed Sheriff Adams???!!! I can't believe it. I liked her! I'm gonna miss her. For a recurring character, she was pretty well-developed in the way that she took no grief from Clark or anyone. I hope her replacement will be as well-written/acted.

Did Adams go to Lex's by herself? Someone should've been with her, and/or followed up after she failed to check in.

For Clark to move Lana faster than a bomb blast, and faster than the flames could burn her, that speed would've ripped her body apart, wouldn't it?

Did they mention in the beginning of the ep how long it was before the election? I ask, because Lex already checking out of the hospital at the end of it, and I'm wondering how much time that would've taken, and whether the election logically would've passed by now.

I was not expecting Sheirff Adams to get killed either! Wow indeed!

And I think Lex said the election was a week away: i.e. next weeks episode.

Well, technically, she didn't think she was going by herself. But I'll really miss her, she deserved better.

Let's face it, Clark's speed has always violated the laws of physics more ways than you can count. Maybe one day they'll explain it, maybe they won't, but I'm hoping for the former.

One thing that gets me is Martha having the little chat with Clark where she tries to feel better about the secret she's keeping from Jonathan, but she mentions how Clark let Pete and Chloe in on his powers and how well they took it.

Should someone remind Martha that Pete took it so well that he wound up leaving town because he couldn't handle keeping Clark's secret?

I have this funny suspicion TPTB at WB are going to have Clark tell Lana everything at the very last episode.

Just my opinion.

The WB doesn't control the plots on this show.

Or perhaps sooner...

Given that it was the network's decision for Clark to fly at the beginning of last season, I wouldn't be too quick to say that.

Also, I'd be genuinely surprised if they didn't have some influence in finding ways to keep Lois hanging around. I mean, what's next, she's going to be Lex's wedding planner? One of Clark's teachers at college? Lionel's new trophy wife? Martha's new trophy wife?

The WB isn't going to have anymore say after this year anyways (if they have any now).
