ok, since I don't know one title from another if this is the one where its Clarks Birthday and Lex finds out "Fine" isn't who he seems to be, and Lionel is coming clean to Martha, its a very interesting episode.

Yeah, this is the one.
I dunno about interesting, but it couldn't have been more predictable if TV Guide printed a transcript before it aired. (I only now got around to watching my tape of the episode, I'm usually out and about on Thursday nights)
So, thoughts and theories...
I think Lionel hasn't been possessed by Jor-El, as such, but has been more 'programmed' by him. I suspect that Jor-El built 'Milton Fine' and that's why Lionel was able to deal with him, having been specifically 'designed' to do so.
And I think Lex is going to be a mortal shell for General Zod.
so if Lex will be the mortal shell for Zod then why is Brainiac trying to force Clark to free Zod?
that just doesn't make sence to me.
Because we haven't seen anything about whether or not Zod has a physical body. Just as Jor-El hasn't actually appeared in the flesh other than possessing Lionel, Zod might not have an actual body to run around and do things.
And I can't think of any other reason why Milton Fine would want to give Lex all sorts of badass powers because he has to know better than to think he can trust Lex with them.
